Pros:

In Chandkheda, this is probably the nicest hotel available in Ahmedabad. We have family nearby and will always use this hotel when we visit. The food for breakfast was always tasty with very attentive service. It was all-vegetarian, at least for breakfast. The kitchen is modern and clean, as is the restaurant and the reception area. The staff accommodated requests readily and was attentive. We used the laundry service and they were very timely, returning the clothes early even though it was a national holiday. The staff cleaning the rooms did a nice job. The guard at the entry gate was always helpful.

Suggestions: Some other guests who used room service leave their trays in the hallways and they stayed there for many hours; we would recommend that the night crew do “rounds” on the upstairs to clear the hall timely, a few times a night. The inside floor of the elevator probably needs to be cleaned more frequently, given the dust etc. that can get tracked in.

Finally, the parking area between the building with the hotel and the adjacent apartment building desperately needs to be paved. It is dusty and very bumpy, even by Indian standards. I suspect there is some diffusion of responsibility involved because it is adjacent to two different buildings, but if it were paved, not only the hotel, but the movie theater and other businesses in the ground floor of the apartment building would be more attractive to automobile and 2-wheeler traffic.
