Magical stay!!! Would love to stay again soon!!!

The property is beautiful!!! Location is excellent!!! Staff is amazing!!! Love it!!!

The only thing I would point out is that the twin sofa bed is not in good condition. Mattress is very stiff. Consider getting another room if you need another bed. Apart from that, it is amazing!!! Would love to go back!!!

It is 10/10 for location, right in the center of Blowing Rock and wonderful for children walking distance to restaurants, playground, ice cream shop. The property itself is lovely and clean.

My new favorite
Pros:

Had breakfast, brunch and dinner. Nothing disappointed. Julie was our server 3 times. A sweetheart! We hope she's still there when we return next year. Thank you Julie!!

Absolutely the worst
Pros:

Worst experience ever.

We booked the best room in August. 10 hours before check in they called to say the room was not available.

My wife I had some meds sent fed ex. It arrived on Monday. The manger could not find the time to go to the PO Box to retrieve the meds, it took until Wednesday.

I called hotels.com to get a refund. They issued a credit memo. Then 10 days later they reversed these credits.

No pool
No spa

Most unconcerned non responsive management.

Great Stay!
Pros:

The high ratings on most travel sites for the Embers are well deserved. We found the hotel to be very clean. Ben and Thomas at the front desk were both very courteous and helpful. The only negative was jackhammering in the middle of one night by the NC DOT. But that’s not the hotels fault of course. The restaurant on site is excellent as well as the service. Will be returning!

Great location
Pros:

Great location. Walkable to shops and restaurants. Beautifully appointed rooms with a small balcony and comfortable chairs. Best views are overlooking downtown. Nice lobby bar. Good restaurant with outdoor seating. We’d stay again!

This was our first say at this hotel - was very surprised by how nice the rooms are, the convenience to the main street in blowing rock, the niceness of the staff, and the great balcony with our room.
