Quirky Adventure filled with Fun.
Pros:

Very quirky place with two old bowling ally’s and a Speakeasy. The place was built in the 1930s, so tons of character. Rooms are modern and very nice and spacious.

Cons:

No front desk staff. Kinda weird way to get key at a bar around the corner. Added to the quirkiness though.

Great historical building in a great location.
Pros:

The location is fantastic. We love the speakeasy in the building, The Commodore. We also love The Inferno Room, which is a short walk away. It’s very close to the convention center as well.

Cons:

This time, the fountain itself was under construction. But that’s okay. We didn’t really come for the titular fountain view.

Until I received an email about the check in process, I don’t recall seeing that the rooms are 1 floor below the bowling alleys. Had we been trying to go to sleep before the alleys closed, my wife would have struggled. In the end, we never did go to bed that early and it was not an issue.

Fun, unique stay in a great location. Pricey for Indy weekend, but I would absolutely stay again.
Pros:

The location was excellent, especially for Indy weekend. It was close to a lot of things to do, easy to get around from, and had a really unique, interesting vibe compared to a standard hotel. The staff was friendly, and overall the stay was comfortable and memorable

Cons:

The biggest downside was the pricing during Indy weekend. I understand events raise demand, but the rates felt extremely high for the stay. Other than the cost, we really enjoyed the property.

WE DID NOT STAY AT THE FOUNTAINVIEW INN. THEY WERE TO NOTIFY BOOKING.COM TO REFUND THE $145..93 FOR CONFIRMATION #5555624715. THERE WAS NOT REGISTRATION DESK, NO PARKING SPECIFIED FOR THIS LODGING. NOT IN A VERY GOOD PART OF TOWN. WE DID NOT CHECK IN OR EVEN ENTER TO ROOM.

This is not the place for you If you’re looking for a standard booking.
Pros:

The room was excellent. Very clean well stocked and the beds were comfortable. There are no usb ports so make sure you bring a charging brick.

Cons:

The area is completely under construction. It’s difficult at best to get there. The “Neighborhood” is less than desirable. When we arrived back from our event the sidewalk and entrance to the building was completely covered with locals who were quite obnoxious. Loud music and street noise well into the late night. The daytime view greatly differs from what you see at night.

Noisy, but great location and atmosphere

I was not warned that the bowling alley was above. The noise was extraordinary and ruined everything. If not for that, I would give a much higher rating. I'm annoyed I wasn't warned. I never would have booked the room/apartment

Downtown Vintage Vibey Stay with all the sparkling clean luxuries you need

We loved the location, the room itself was comfy and cozy and the building was gorgeous. It felt like home.

Cons:

We didn't like leaving. We could have lived there.
