Clean air conditioner worked really well great restaurants near by
Unfortunately the construction in the area
Was curious when I had to retrieve my room key from the attendant at the bowling alley, once I got in the building, my worries were gone. The building is amazing, the rooms exceeded expectations, staff was the best, location couldn’t be beat. I don’t have enough good this to say about this place.
If you are staying for the weekend especially, this place does have a mini bowling alley above it, so there is some noise in the afternoon evening time. This may have just been my room, but afternoon naps were not a thing.
Close to event at HiFi
Nothing comes to mind.
The room is like a vintage apartment. It was beautifully decorated with vintage decor. Very clean and smelled very good.
It was not your typical hotel. Cool location. Very spacious room. Rooftop bar was nice. The Bowling alley was old School and awesome. Great value. Jacuzzi bathtub was nice.
Nothing really.
Perfect location. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go.
It got pretty busy Friday night but we had a great time.
Loved the retro feel. Room was comfortable and very clean; spacious with great amenities. Free parking.
Parking, while free, was challenging to find a space to park. Elevator situation is not good; very small and not easy to access due to the high volume of patrons and staff using it; lots of very long lines. Duck pin bowling was right above our room and very noisy. The access code to use the stairway door did not work.
The location was great. The location itself is in a cool neighborhood.
Quirky, weird, super clean room, bed was terrible and they definitely need curtains but safe, convenient, clean and fun.
I knew to expect it but you do hear noise from the bowling alley on the floor above. No naps or early bedtime.
It was walking distance to restaurants and across from Hifi.
Very quirky place with two old bowling ally’s and a Speakeasy. The place was built in the 1930s, so tons of character. Rooms are modern and very nice and spacious.
No front desk staff. Kinda weird way to get key at a bar around the corner. Added to the quirkiness though.
Old vintage style
Out dated
The staff was super flexible and the directions to get into and out of the building were VERY clear and explained well both via email and in person.
There is nothing I didn’t like other than construction nearby which the hotel itself cannot control.
The location is fantastic. We love the speakeasy in the building, The Commodore. We also love The Inferno Room, which is a short walk away. It’s very close to the convention center as well.
This time, the fountain itself was under construction. But that’s okay. We didn’t really come for the titular fountain view.
It was a very nice place! Will be going back!
Fabulous location, really cool building & associated restaurants & attractions.
Nothing.
