Would stay again, especially now that we know about the community room with microwave and coffee pot

We didn’t know about the community room until it was too late. Wish the clerk had mentioned it on check in

Charming
Pros:

We did like the old hotel feel, very charming and Laura front desk was so nice. It was in a very good location.

Cons:

It didn't have AC, which normally wouldn't be an issue if it wasn't 96 degrees. That is my only dislike, it would be amazing in the fall.

Pros:

Nice modern rooms in an old mining town boarding house. Easy to find. Really like the room they have set up with microwave and full size refrigerator and plates and cups, etc, for everyone to use and store food from our coolers. Great hot shower, comfortable bed. Good price. I am solo woman traveler. Thanks

Dont go to idaho city hotel, go to goldmine
Pros:

Stayed at gold mine instead and liked how clean the cabin was

Cons:

Arrived at Idaho city hotel to find out there is no ac and it was 94degrees. The room was upstairs and also found out the microwave and fridge were communal and not in the room. There was no way I was going to stay so they send me to gold mine hotel. The cabin was.clean, cute and good ac. No curtain on the bathroom window, the TV wasn't working.and although a keurig for coffee, there were no coffee cups, only plastic water cups

Floors were crooked , no A/C, box fan.

Pros:

The location is nice

Cons:

Good luck finding staff to check in, the floor is extremely loud when you walk around. I think the beds are original to the property they were uncomfortable
