The room could have been cleaned better it was dusty and the floors were dirty.

Staff was attentive, fantastic rooms and spacious workout room, bar was great with the windows open to the street and rooftop was beautiful with the pool and bar. Loved the water stations on each floor. I’ve been in many Moxy Hotels around the world and this Moxy is one of my favorites. Would love a hot tub on the rooftop as well but was amazing all around.

Angie was the kindest and most awesome bartender. She deserves a promotion and a raise I saw her both managing the bar and the tables around the bar by herself for at least three hours and dealing it with such smile and Grace. She is awesome. And very knowledgeable on bourbon.

I came in town for a wedding. Normally I’m a big fan of the Moxy, but this one left a lot to be desired in terms of customer service and experience.

On check-in I specifically requested housekeeping every day. The next day? No housekeeping. When I asked the front desk they said that I had it noted that I wanted housekeeping every day and told me I should tell the front desk tomorrow so they make sure it gets done. Oh, so I’ll need to follow up with the front desk to make sure the job gets done? Sure, I’ll work harder to make sure I get what I asked for.

Next day comes and we head out and I told front desk that I wanted to make sure my room was done. They said I was on the list. Four hours later I come back to no housekeeping done to the room. I call and the woman at the front desk said that they do the rooms where people check out first and they wouldn’t get to my room until 3. I said that wouldn’t work, that I needed to get ready for a wedding and wanted the room changed over by 3. She said “we will figure it out, I promise.” I leave and come back at 3 - room not done. Why lie? Why tell me it’ll get done if it won’t? The front desk gave me some towels, but that wasn’t the point. What really frustrated me was that the front desk manager blamed it on staffing issues with housekeeping. Blaming things on other parts of the hotel doesn’t show that team spirit and sense of ownership. When one part of the hotel falls short, everyone does. A rising tide lifts all boats.

Other cons include: world’s smallest fridge, no steamer in the room (a Moxy staple), torn rooftop pool furniture, no towels for rooftop pool, private NYE party that turned the lobby into a zoo and took an elevator out of commission for people to go up to rooftop party. Mediocre stay overall. Do not recommend.

Stayed at the Moxy Hotel and absolutely loved it. The vibe is modern, fun, and energetic without feeling over the top. The lobby doubles as a social space, which makes it easy to relax, work, or grab a drink. The rooms are compact but smartly designed, clean, comfortable, and exactly what you need after a long day out. Staff was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful from check-in to check-out. Great location, great atmosphere, and perfect if you like a hotel that feels more like an experience than just a place to sleep. Would 100% stay here again.

If you are staying in downtown St. Pete and you are not staying at Moxy, respectfully… what are you even doing?

Quick heads up before I tell you why I love this place so much: valet only. And yes, if you pull around back and see a ramp that says “For Valet Only - Strictly Enforced” and think, “How strictly? Maybe I’ll just pull up and it’ll magically open”… it will not. 😂 Learn from me and the car that was behind that tried the same exact thing!

That being said, the valet team was AMAZING. I had heaps of luggage and zero organization, and they were so patient. I never felt rushed or stressed, which honestly set the tone for the entire stay.

Inside, Tiffany at the front desk was an absolute gem. Warm, welcoming, kind… and possibly psychic. When my boyfriend came by to grab an extra key, she immediately knew exactly who he was like a Hollywood matchmaker. Still impressed and Still slightly unsettled in the best way.

Then there’s Kejon, aka KJ, the front desk actual real-life angel. He thought there might be an issue with my balcony door, so he personally helped me with all my luggage and I escorted me to my room to ensure everything was working perfectly. That level of care (especially considering how busy they were with it being New Year’s Eve) is rare and honestly meant so much.

Let’s talk food and drinks. Amazing libations. Delicious bites. Immaculate vibes. Sam took great care of us and delivered a solid 10 out of 10 experience.

Every single time I come to Saint Pete, I will stay here. No debate. No second guessing. This place gets it right every time. Stylish, fun, thoughtful, and genuinely welcoming. I’ll be back again and again. 💙✨

Atmosphere also great the pool and rooftop bar is amazing 🤩 clean rooms and service is amazing 🤩. Front desk staff was on top of it.

Only one thing it was not cool about it is that a friend came over to visit me and I had to go down to get him up because the night security would not give him a key ? Something like that. Other than that everything was 10/10.

Moxy rocks

This hotel was so fun! Located on a vibrant street in st pete. The staff was eclectic and diverse such a nice change from most of florida 😜
Everyone was very welcoming.The room was clean.The downstairs bar was fun.Cocktails were great.
The morning coffee spot, Rosy, was delicious and served real coffee, not starbucks garbage. The breakfast sandwiches were on point and made fresh.
The rooftop bar and pool were a blast!

locals and I would definitely have another staycation here again.

My second time staying. Everyone who works at the Moxy is so nice! That is a big reason I came back and will make it my first choice when staying in St Pete. They are warm and friendly and are helpful and patient.
Such a nice location close enough to all the action and a lot of nice coffee shops, fitness studios, shops, and restaurants. The hotel feels very safe; is clean, super cool, and has a lot of nice amenities, they let you use bikes to explore the city. On the weekends there are several markets in the area within walking distance.
The rooftop pool is so pretty especially for sunset.

Overall a great value and even better so with the Amex benefits. The amenities and bar are superb for the price. The rooms are nothing special, kinda small, but serviceable and still great value for the price/location. The staff were all very friendly and will definitely be back.
