Talavera Palm Springs Hotel - 21 & Over

Perfect anniversary getaway and from the moment we stepped foot on property, we started recommending it to friends and family. The quaint setup is the ideal mix of adult private time or small-dose social hour without being party-central. Music at the pool is just loud enough to enjoy while swimming, but not so loud it bleeds into your private patio time. They provide contactless check-in, checkout and even beverage delivery for the most discreet experience. Close enough to the downtown action if you’re looking for a taste of the resort/party atmosphere. The owners were extremely warm and welcoming and generous with recommendations. We even toured other rooms in anticipation of a future return trip, but we couldn’t go wrong with The Ranch Suite. Private patio with plenty of sun and direct access to the pool when wanted. 1000/10 recommend!!!

The property so clean, relaxing and we'll maintained. It really is an oasis in the desert. The rooms are comfortable, clean and spacious. I love that every hacienda has it's own patio.

Gorgeous hotel that is unassuming from the outside but reports you to a Moroccan desert oasis. It’s so beautiful and serene inside. The location is prime, walking distance to a ton of great cafes and restaurants. The rooms are stunning, even the cheapest room was so luxurious and cute. Very clean facility and quiet in the common areas. Joni was an amazing hostess and brought a great friendly vibe from the moment we walked in. She was so attentive and welcoming!! 10/10 stars for Joni alone, amazing staff.

We just wrapped up a two-night stay at The Talavera Palm Springs 🌴, and it was hands-down one of the best boutique hotel experiences we've had. From the moment we arrived, this place felt like a hidden gem tucked away from the busyness of the city ✨.

We booked the Coba Suite and were blown away by the details. The shower alone deserves its own review — spacious, beautifully finished, and exactly what you want after a day out in the desert heat ☀️. And here's a fun little bonus: it's positioned so you can walk straight from the shower to the patio — no need to towel off first! 👀😄 — that's how secluded and well-designed this suite is!

The suite's air conditioning was powerful and kept the room perfectly cool ❄️ no matter how hot it got outside, which we really appreciated.

The true showstopper, though, was the private back patio 🌵. It was completely secluded, with its own jacuzzi 🛁 tucked into the space. I brought along 60 feet of festive mini LED fairy lights 🎇 and strung them up across the patio, and it transformed the space into the coziest, most magical spot imaginable ✨. We spent both nights soaking in the jacuzzi under the twinkling lights — it's a memory we'll carry with us for a long time 💫. On top of that, we had access to a secluded pool 🏊‍♂️ on the property that felt private and peaceful every time we used it, never crowded, always relaxing.

Beyond our suite, the grounds themselves are a huge part of the magic here 🌴🌳. Everything is beautifully shaded, so you can wander the property without baking in the sun, and the decor throughout has this wonderful retro desert flair 🕶️🌺 that makes it feel like a mid-century Palm Springs postcard come to life. There are secluded little seating areas tucked around every corner 🪑🌵 — perfect for a quiet morning coffee or an evening cocktail 🍹 away from everyone else.

What elevated the whole stay, though, was the people. Jonie, the onsite manager, was an absolute pleasure from check-in to check-out — professional, warm, and genuinely welcoming in a way that made us feel like valued guests rather than just another reservation 🙌. Olga, who took care of housekeeping, was equally wonderful — friendly, thoughtful, and meticulous with the room 💛. Both of them represent exactly the kind of hospitality that turns a good stay into an unforgettable one.

We are already planning a return trip, and next time we're bringing another couple along with us so they can experience it too 🌴🎉 — we know we'll be staying even longer as well. The Talavera Palm Springs is a true gem 💎, and between the gorgeous Coba Suite, the shady, beautifully decorated grounds, and the outstanding team — especially Jonie and Olga — we cannot recommend this property highly enough. If you're considering a stay here, book it. You won't regret it! ✨🌴

This spot is the perfect getaway. Very private, no kids, and it’s extremely peaceful. The location is near many good restaurants and shops. The service is top notch, everyone is very friendly. If you ever need any, ask for Carlos. He’s the man for real.

This was a bestie, weekend getaway. Loved the place. Pool is so pretty and surrounded by shade. The atmosphere is super chill. Made some friends with a couple at the pool and had a midnight swim and chat in the garden under pretty likes, overlooking the mountains. Location is key. Walking distance to main strip. And don’t get me started about the room. The room was cool, gorgeous tub, and just lovely feelings all around. Thank you Talavera staff.

The stay was more than words can describe.
It was just the getaway my wife and I were looking for the atmosphere was calm and the rooms were very clean as if they were brand new.
I surprised my wife with a romance package and they did not disappoint and they exceeded my expectations. I I’ll definitely be coming back.

We’ve been staying at Talavera for years. The rooms are consistently pristine and well appointed. Same great staff from year to year. And, Talavera’s location 1 block from the Arenas District in Downtown Palm Springs is a huge perk.

Amazing place to stay with your dog near downtown! We took our Maltese mix and she was welcomed with open arms (and a pet bed and bowls)! She was able to sit by the pool with me, which was a unique experience at a hotel.
The hotel grounds were very peaceful, zen-like, with lush greenery. It was very quiet, only a few rooms and everyone was respectful (not party central).
The room was clean and comfortable. The only weird thing was our front door had a half inch gap even when locked, so it didn't seem very secure. With a dog in the room, we didn't worry about security haha.

Giving this place an excellent rating because it deserves it. My hubby and I went there to celebrate my birthday over 4th of July weekend and this place did not disappoint. From checking in with the amazing Joni, being greeted daily by all their staff & Carlos, relaxing by the pool on their quaint grounds, and staying in their nicest room Fountain, this is definitely the place to be. It’s also walking distance to downtown and pet friendly.
If you’re looking to relax for the weekend, you will want to stay at Talavera. This was not our first time here and won’t be our last.

Talavera was a great place to stay. As it being my first time in downtown Palm Springs, that me year was great. Especially the staff, they’re all very friendly and made sure we were taken care of, including Jodey and Carlos. I would recommend staying here anytime and I for sure Wanna come back! I give this one a 5 out of 5

We had such a wonderful stay at this boutique hotel from the moment we arrived, Carlos made our family feel completely at home with his warm hospitality and genuine kindness he went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed, the entire staff was incredibly friendly welcoming and always happy to help, one of the highlights was the beautiful lush gardens throughout the property the greenery creates a peaceful relaxing atmosphere that truly feels like a home away from home If you're looking for a charming boutique hotel with exceptional hospitality and a tranquil setting, I highly recommend staying here, Thank you Carlos and the entire team for making our family's stay so special we can't wait to come back!

Talavera Palm Springs was a great boutique adult only stay. Loved how quiet it was and how comfortable the room was. We stayed in a suite right by the pool. The room was perfect; bed super comfortable and the bathroom was great. Loved having a private jacuzzi. It was all very clean and the room even had off spray in it for the mosquitos. There's an abundance of towels, and there's also a free water/coffee station. The people working the property were so friendly and accommodating. We'll definitely be back!

The only complaint was that there was constant leaves/debris falling into the pool, so my boyfriend would actually take the pool cleaner leaf skimmer net and swim around collecting.
