I booked this hotel because it was my sister’s birthday, and one of the main reasons I chose this room was that the listing clearly stated it had two queen beds. When we checked in, we discovered the room only had one bed.

Normally this wouldn’t be a huge issue, but I specifically booked two beds because I have back and sleep issues, so having my own bed is important for my health. I explained this to the front desk. They spent about 10 minutes trying to find a solution but ultimately told me the hotel was fully booked and there was nothing they could do. I understand that hotels can sell out, but the incorrect room description was not my mistake, and I had paid for the room that was advertised.

What disappointed me most was the lack of customer service. There was no attempt to make the situation right in any way. I also mentioned that we were celebrating my sister’s birthday, but there was no gesture of goodwill or effort to improve our stay. I’ve stayed at many hotels around the world, and in situations where the hotel makes a mistake, there is usually at least some effort to acknowledge it and take care of the guest.

After checkout, I asked whether any partial refund or discount could be considered because of the incorrect room. I was told the manager was out of town, that my phone number and email would be passed along, and that I would be contacted within 24 hours. That never happened. It’s now been several days, and I haven’t received a phone call, an email, or any follow-up whatsoever.

I’m leaving this review because I think future guests should know what to expect. Mistakes can happen, but what really matters is how they’re handled. Unfortunately, in my experience, this hotel showed very little interest in resolving the issue or making it right.

Property was really nice, clean in all areas.

Cons:

Description of 2 rooms with balconies was described but did not receive balconies. Also 1 room was supposed to have 2 beds and a sofa bed. Could not change rooms, none were available to accommodate the days we were there. Food services very spotty, did not have items on breakfast menu, so did not go back for breakfast. Food was ok. Only 1 fire pit was working. The bartenders were great, they were servers, hostess and beyond.

I loved the hotel and the restaurant and the staff was very lovely. The rooms were clean and overall the hotel had a nice appearance, and the gym had wonderful equipment in it as well.

Cons:

Housekeeping did not do a great consistent job and keeping our room floors, clean nor the bathroom. We were not often well stocked on towels, and our second day there completely ran out of body wash, and it was never restocked nor did we asked at that point we just purchased our own. This is the only area of improvement that I could suggest.

Cambria Hotel is new, lovely and pleasantly appointed and staffed. I will stay here again.
Pros:

The property was beautiful, clean, modern, and well staffed with helpful and friendly folks. The indoor and outdoor pools and giant hot tub were clean, well designed and well staffed.
The restaurant is delightful, with a nice menu and pleasant staff. The game room is a hit for the kids as well.

Cons:

It was my-bad that the getting to the beach from this location was a bit of a hassle due to traffic congestion.

One of the best hotel experiences.
Pros:

Great value. Staff were very pleasant and super helpful. Even offered some of the amenities while we waited for our official check in time. (Indoor pool & restaurant) stored our luggage away while we waited for our room. I would 10/10 recommend to any guest
