Did not eat breakfast there. My grandson did not like the breakfast
The cabinet for the closet had been removed, making it look like there was no closet. The bars for the closet was still there. This left everything exposed… iron, ironing board, extra linen, fridge and microwave. I had to pay a resort fee that apparently was not included when I paid for my stay.
The room was clean and outdoor pool was nice.
The indoor pool and hot tub had what looked like black mold above the water line of the hot tub and the pool. They constantly ran out of pool towels. The food at the hotel was not that great.

The staff was nice and friendly. The restaurant has a great wait staff and the food is delicious. My husband and I ate breakfast and dinner there every night along with drinks. Everything was absolutely amazing. The location is ideal only a few minutes from the Rehoboth Beach but not on the beach.
I enjoyed everything about the hotel
I like the lobby and ground floor’s modern clean decor and atmosphere. I wish I had time to swim as your pool is the largest around. As soon as I told the concierge that the sofa bed in our room was broken, within an hour two staff brought a very comfy rolling bed which worked great. The free, fresh lemon and strawberry water for guests,and snack to purchase were great.
The fan in our room didn’t stop working even when I turned the AC off. We all have sinus issues so the cold air was directly on our noses and we had to covered up our noses with the sheets and we managed ok.
The location was conveniently situated near Walmart and approximately 17 minutes away from the beach.
This hotel experience was, without a doubt, one of the worst I've ever had.
We arrived at 3:00 PM and were told that our room was not ready. My family ran a few errands and returned around 5:00 PM to check in. When we arrived, we had to wait approximately 20 minutes to check in because two of the three employees were assisting another guest.
Once we finally checked in and received our room keys, we went to our room. The moment we opened the door, we were hit with an awful smell. The room reeked of mildew and smelled as though it had not been properly cleaned in a very long time. I immediately contacted the front office, expecting that, given the condition of the room, we would be offered another room. Instead, the manager told us that the hotel was completely sold out and that, because I had booked through
Booking.com, there was not much they could do other than have the room cleaned. My husband and I discussed our options. We had already been traveling for five hours, were exhausted, and our child was tired as well. Rather than continue searching for another hotel, we decided to let them clean the room and hoped that would resolve the issue.
Unfortunately, it did not. When we returned, the room appeared to be clean, but the real problem became apparent when we went to bed. The sheets smelled strongly of mildew and sweat. The condition and odor of the bedding made it seem as though the sheets had not been properly cleaned or replaced after the previous guest. It was absolutely disgusting and unacceptable. It is current 2:14 a.m and I am up due to not being able to sleep comfortable in a bed I paid for due to the smell of the sheets.
A hotel room should be clean, fresh, and sanitary especially when you are paying for a hotel that is advertised as a 4.4-star property. This experience fell far below any reasonable standard. I will never stay at this hotel again, and I plan to escalate this matter beyond the manager because of how poorly our concerns were...
