We'd recommend the place, and stay again.
Pros:

Everything wa new and clean and very pleasant. The staff were very helpful. It was easy to find, and convenient to a drug store, among others. Couldn't find much to criticize. Breakfast was OK, nothing special. The coffee was deliciously hot..
the only thing I miss (as in all motels) is not having a good reading light in bed. And the usual difficulty in finding a particular TV channel.

Great location near the Lynden fairgrounds and walking distance to many restaurants and grocery shopping
Pros:

Clean, nice lobby, nice room and great shower pressure

Cons:

Breakfast didn’t have great options and the coffee and hot water carafe in the lobby were either empty or cold

Location was good for where we’re needing to be

Cons:

The staff and management need to be friendly to paying customers . Refuses to give receipt , then keep trying to argue just very unprofessional management and staff

trying to find a hotel close to a border crossing for the funeral. This showed up with great reviews

Friendly staff.

Cons:

Two things:

(1) We had a strange Power outage on our last night. ONly affected our room. Staff was quick to fix but I have to say, I've not had a single room power outage before.

(2) The online checkout did not work and had to check out manually. Aparently this was related to the 3rd party booking agent (Booking.com). Need to get that fixed.
