Clean & cozy. Easy check in and check out process.
Great location, very clean, easy to check-in and out. Outstanding service by Nick. Very responsive and super helpful.
Perfect location.
Cute and clear rooms
Great balcony
Everything!!!
We went during a snowstorm and couldn’t park in the street out front. Had to park on a side street.
No heat in the bedroom had to use a fan tonpush heat from the living area.
Location is great and super easy access with parking out front. Nice Colorado and movie decorations. Loved being next door to Bear Coffee which was great too.
Not the fault of Frenchman but we had a tough time sleeping through the night due to a rather loud party or group of people gathering in the alley/street behind the property. Was pretty rowdy until 2AM. Thought the room could have been a little cleaner especially the bathroom where we found some hair on floor and in drain. Still though a great property and fairly priced.
Conveniently located to all we wanted to do
It was wonderful
Perfect stay in Silverton. Had everything we needed. We’ll be back!
Didn’t know ther was a breakfast.
Fantastic property. Loved the setup in this place!!
This was one of the coolest places we've ever stayed at!! It lacked nothing!!! I only wish we could have stayed more than one night. It feels like home and the decor was spot on. A lot of thought went into designing this place. We will be back for sure!!! 😊
We didn't have this problem, but I'm wondering if parking is reserved for your customers? We were able to park right outside the door, but during your busy season are there reserved spots on the street for your customers?
The Frenchman is a truly special place to stay, perfectly located on Greene Street right in the heart of downtown Silverton. Our host, Nick, had everything dialed in for a seamless arrival. The expansive windows in the great room frame a stunning view of Mt. Kendall, made even better by the warmth and crackle of the wood stove.
We’ve stayed in two of the three suites, and both were exceptionally comfortable and beautifully decorated with turn-of-the-century railroad and mining memorabilia and artwork. The beds and bedding are genuinely five-star. Each suite offers a well-appointed kitchenette, a private living room, and plenty of space for gear.
Unit 3 is a standout, with its own private stairway leading to a rooftop deck—an incredible view you won’t forget. We will absolutely stay here again.
The in floor heat is amazing BUT do not adjust the thermostat. It is slow to heat up and slow to cool down so... leave it the way Nick set it!
The second-floor room was exceptional. This is one of those special places.
Found nothing to dislike.
I really liked the posters from old western movies, and the overall style felt like exactly what I was looking for in this old, slightly forgotten mining town. I also really appreciate that there are no signs throughout the accommodation telling me what is allowed and what is not (except one about respecting quiet hours at night, which is fine). It is really refreshing to see a host who trusts that his guests have common sense.
Nothing really, the stay was perfect and I enjoyed it a lot.
