Nice for one night stay.
Pros:

There was no breakfast available but we were given a discount card for local restaurant. The building is very old but has some modern conviences. Private bath has a shower and a tub that is very old but worked for one night. Nice little coffee/tea station upstairs.

Pros:

I found Springer station to be just Charming with all kinds of local art and antique furnishings. The family also has a restaurant right down the road with good home cooking.

Cons:

My only issue was that all the rooms are on the second floor with no elevator as I was just coming from sea level and adjusting to the altitude LOL

Wonderful historic hotel in the small town of Springer. Our family booked it as a late-night holdover on our way to somewhere else in the area. The beds were clean, very soft and comfortable. The host was kind despite our late-night arrival and guided us through the amenities. This is a historic property though, so some of the facilities are appropriately dated. While we were fine with this, some of them seemed to reflect overdue maintenance (porcelain/finsh chipping/stripping in the sink) vs just simple age.

Pros:

Nice stay in a historic hotel, loved all the paintings! Comfortable bed and has a sink and refrigerator in the room, so having a shared bathroom is not a hardship.

Pros:

The room was clean and allowed pets! Only one bathroom down the hall though… A/C worked great and they had a nice coffee/tea station which made the morning go quicker. It is an old building and could do with some remodeling
