Will choose somewhere else next time.
Pros:

Location was close to the hospital. It was also close to places to dine.

Cons:

The people above us were loud at 3 am. The parking garage is fine just wish it had direct access to the hotel instead of having to go outside. We were there on the night of the torrential rain. There is also a 15 dollar charge on my card for something I am unaware of.

Pros:

We stayed at the Hampton Inn UN Medical Area because it was in close proximity to our daughter's apartment. We came to assist her to move to a new place close to the hotel. The location is good if you're doing anything at UNMC or in the vicinity. It's a short drive to the Old Market and downtown, too. There are multiple restaurants and bars within a short walk from the hotel.

Cons:

We expected more from a Hilton-branded property. On the first two nights of our three night stay, we were awakened in the wee hours of the morning (1am to 3am) by loud construction work going on proximate to the property. If we had been informed that this type of work was going on, we would have stayed elsewhere. In addition, the breakfast selections were less than appetizing. They consisted of pre-processed foods that were not all that tasty. Cut fruit would have been nice, for example. Lastly, we were staying on an upper floor of the building and when we went to shower in the morning, the water pressure was consistently bad, at times cutting off hot water flow entirely. Hard to believe for a property that hasn't even been open two years.

Location is too far away from the interstate. The construction made it very confusing and hard to access. There wasn't enough parking.

Property is okay but not as good as you expect Hampton Inn usually is...

property was well maintained.

Cons:

odd noises at night (similar to an older home making settling noises. staff was not prepared for the breakfast rush (8 am - 8:30 am). staff did not turn on wifi for room. parking was an additional $15.

Room was comfortable, clean. Two of three of front desk employees were smiling and happy to help.
Pros:

Breakfast was good, plenty of options. Hot foods were mostly the same each day. Plenty of options at soda fountain.

Cons:

More handle bars in shower. I slipped and almost busted my head open. The one and only bar in shower was not within reach.

Would stay again
Pros:

Room was very nice. Thankfully got to move rooms due to the TV not working. Pool area is very nice, especially at sunset. Breakfast was well stocked & changed hot food options each day. We liked the sliding barn door to the bathroom.

Cons:

Construction was a little bit of a pain. There were less spots to park in while checking in. Oddly, the toilet paper holders were loose in both rooms.

Nice hotel
Pros:

The hotel was very neat and the reception was nice. The shower was super and we liked the shampoo and soap. Breakfast was good with a variety.

Cons:

We did not know about under ground parking or check in was on the 2nd floor. Once we figured that out it was fine. The staff were very nice and welcoming and the room was spotless so that make up for the minor issues.

Confused at first, but worth the price.
Pros:

The pool, Am breakfast and building were beautiful.

Cons:

The front entrance, outside sign, and garage at night could all be better planned. More lights, more directions, and a designated check in area outside. People were literally ‘parked’ in the street confused on how to get in or where to go.
