The location is perfect for those in need of being close to the hospital. The property is very nice and up to date.
It wasn’t very clean. The room was clean but the hallway and elevator floors were very gross. The convenience store area was bare and the breakfast seemed to be as well.
Very clean, close to UNMC
Bed very hard
Breakfast was hot and fresh. I liked the parking available at an additional charge.
The room was quite noisy with the sounds from outside and from those in the level above us.
Updated/modern, clean, breakfast
Parking, lobby on 2nd floor so when entering it feels like you’re in the wrong building.
Friendly accomodatung staff. Decent breakfast.
Black dirt on the comforter. Pool closed for the weekend. I booked this hotel for the pool. T.V. was not user friendly but a nice front desk lady came up to help with the T.V. We had to ring the front desk several times though with no answer and then they called back.
Very clean
Front desk worker was very little help. We called from outside because we didn't know where to park..there was no signage at all....he had no clue what street the garage side was on..just said it's a black door. Well...there are black doors in front and back! We were checking in at 4PM, check in starts at 3, he said just a minute I have to check....he walked a way. He came back a few min later...took my ID then said oh it's not ready...these other people were here first and we would have to wait our turn. Finally at 430 he said ok.. your turn. He handed us our key...didn't tell us our room number...didn't tell us where it was...then asked. Any questions. Yes...where is the room...where is the pool..where do we eat breakfast? Absolutely no personality at all.
Parking garage was nice to feel good about leaving your car. Although, we didn’t realize it cost extra until check-in. All staff was friendly. The pool area was nice and breakfast was good.
The building is odd for a new building. I’m not sure structurally some of the choices made. Like the first floor is completely pointless. You check-in on the second floor but there really isn’t any signage to say that. There is no place to park to do said check in. The street parking is all full. Again, no signage that the parking lot behind the building and half block away is for this location. We got lucky and used the diamond parking space but we are not diamond members. I wasn’t sure what else to do.
For a new build, our door to our room did not shut all the way. Yes, it locked but you can still outside into the hallway through a gap. Then the hallway light leaked in during the night.
We could hear our neighbors above us stomping around.
Pool and staff
Nothing
The breakfast was very good and everything was presented well. The location was very close but a little tricky to navigate until learned.
Your back staircase, to the parking garage, needs looked after. There was spilled things and trash. Not very appealing when compared to how nice the rest of the hotel seemed.
The rooms were spacious. It appeared to be very clean.
I was very disappointed in the front desk employee when we arrived. No one at the front desk and finally he appeared down the hall walking very slowly the desk. Checked us in but gave us very little information on the property or about the breakfast. Nothing about check out time or internet use. Just all around disappointing. The morning check out was a very pleasant experience.
Proximity to the hospital
Hallways and carpet areas were dirty. We were in rm 322 but asked to move due to a high pitch whine that never stopped. Elevator was cold.
