Pros:

Brand new hotel, very clean. Good location. Lots of shopping/restaurants. Welcoming staff. Minimalist rooms with little decor & dim lighting. TV in an odd location. Quiet, except for inconsiderate people in the hallway. Beds are fairly comfy but they seem to get their pillows at the Hotel Pancake Pillow store, like almost all hotels. Breakfast was just ok. The egg & cheese English muffins were cold. Get down there before 8am because they don't seem to restock after that. They were out of muffins & plain bagels shortly after 8, and service is supposed to go til 9.

Pros:

Very comfortable and clean hotel newer hotel. Only thing I would have liked is if it would have been pet friendly so I could bring my fur baby.

Pros:

Newly built facility, it was very clean. Staff was very nice. Only problem we found was the food for breakfast was not very good. First day it was good, but the next 2 days it was not. I have stayed at other Springhill suites and have not found the breakfast to be a problem, but here it was.

No animals in the kitchen/dining area!
Pros:

The girl serving the food for breakfast got on her knees and hugged on a large dog. She petted it for several mins and even pulled the dog against her chest. She then proceeded to open the eggs and bacon dishes with no gloves and without washing her hands. Management, please don't allow animals in the eating area and post a sign! Why aren't the employees trained on this with it being a brand new facility! Gloves and no petting animals when serving food to your customers. This is at the Springhill Marriott in Ellijay, GA.

Pros:

I would have given it a 5 star review except for the fact that the refrigerator in the room only ran for 2 hours at a time. I asked the front drsk receptionist about it and he called maintenence. They told him that was how it was. The front desk guy offered us to use the employee refrigerator but I refused to give my refrigerated dog food and medication. Otherwise, the property was immaculate.

Pros:

Room was not clean when enter in to the room. As well they don’t clean rooms in daily basis . Anyone can enter in to the hotel not secured. Ask for the room to be clean and they just empty trash but room was still dirty .

Pros:

Property was extremely clean and well appointed. Lovely room and bathroom.

Did not like that early Saturday morning we got a call from the front desk tell us the fire alarm in the room was going off. That did not set the tone for a great day. Apparently, it was silent on our end and when I asked if we needed to do anything, we were told no.

Pros:

I think the bathroom needs a fan. The shower door does not close so the floor is wet after the shower. I also think the bedroom should have a clock on the wall for people who disconnect from cell phone as an attempt to disconnect from the world to get rest.
