The price of $200 for a minimalist motel felt outrageous.
Pros:

It had a gravel parking along the main road in town but at least you could park in front of your room. A decent job of remodeling an old fashion strip motel . For the exorbitantly high price at least you got some packets of peanuts and water bottles

Cons:

Somewhat noisy being next to the main road. The most expensive room in my entire 7 night trip from California to GA for a very strip down room without breakfast. Unfortunately other hotels in the whole area weee even more expensive. So it is not just this one

Good for quick stays
Cons:

Air conditioner in room 3 made the most annoying squealing noises. We were offered another room but chose to turn off unit and open the windows. Needs some repairs in bathroom, sink is pulling away from wall and plumbing not to code.

Decent ...
Pros:

Easy to find, easy to check in, clean room, clean towels. AC made some noise.

Cons:

The bed was not too comfortable. We would also have appreciated if there were one extra quilt.

We had a great time hiking.
Pros:

Clean, comfortable roomy room. We enjoyed hanging out on the porch looking up at Mt Whitney.

Cons:

The air conditioner was weak. It couldn't bring the room down to a comfortable sleeping temperature. It was also noisy, but that type of ac is always noisy.

It was very clean and convenient.
Pros:

It was very convenient. The food truck is right next door and they had yummy food. I like the location in between Bishop and Lone Pine.

Cons:

The lock was on the outside of the bathroom.
And the construction on the road started early and ended late.

Pros:

The bathroom was clean and recently remodeled.

Cons:

There is no staff on site, and you can't talk to a live person. You can only text someone who you can't identify. Also, there's no guest laundry, which was a major inconvenience as a PCT hiker.
