Nice staff, clean rooms, great complimentary items

Hotel is extremely clean with spacious rooms. Would highly recommend if your in the area.

This place may look pretty in the photos, but be prepared for an ugly night of non-sleep. Was there for a sleep study prescribed by a nearby hospital. Priority 1a: Quiet. Called the hotel twice during week regarding my reason for the stay. Was assured I would be found a quiet room. Room #1: one could hear the TV blaring through paper-thin wall into the hallway, 2x worse in my room. Room #2: was quiet for 4 hours. Then the party arrived above, the the constant thuds of each step shook the matchstick-thin floors. Asked for another room from the new person at reception. was told that the hotel is full. I showed the hospital equipment, and my calls to the hotel during the week. Receptionist responded, "I'm surprised, because this hotel specializes in events ... few of our rooms are quiet. This is deception. I told the receptionist that I was leaving, and would capture my experiences on consumer forums. At least one of us followed through. I paid $153 to escape this prison called Chez Hotel. This is not really a hotel. Instead, it's a Party City hostel.

Great new hotel at an affordable price.

Drove up with my spouse and dog from Virginia to spend a few days with my mom who lives in the local area.

Place used to be called European Crystal and apparently rebranded to Chez. Don’t know how it was before, but this place is pretty nice now.

Folks were all friendly and rooms very comfortable. Huuuuge TVs on the walls, but the walls themselves were kinda thin. Noise does transfer, for sure. Beds are comfy. Rooms were clean. Towels and toiletries were nice. All in all, a great place and an unexpected find there in the ‘burbs. We didn’t spend any time on the rooftop bar, so can’t speak to that.

Price seemed to be on par with other hotels in the area, and we’ve stayed at several competitors over the years. But I think we get more for our money here.

Bottom line? Yes, we’d return here again.

From the moment I walked in, Chez Hotel made me feel like more than just a guest — I got true VIP treatment. The staff were warm and attentive, responding immediately to requests with a genuine smile. My room was spotless and beautifully designed, with premium linens, luxurious toiletries, and thoughtful extras that showed real care. Between the quiet comfort, top-notch amenities, and the little surprises around every corner, it felt like they went above and beyond to make me feel special.

The hotel is beautiful the staff was nice and helpful. The bed was comfortable and the entire place was very clean. I love that they operable windows in the rooms. The terrace was just as nice as the hotel with a beautiful view of sunset during happy hour. The artwork was great! The lobby is swoon
worthy and the hotel is quiet. It’s in close proximity to the mall which is a plus! A fantastic Chicago suburb stay!

This was such a well decorated property. I was greeted by the staff who had the best welcoming attitude. The rooftop was a great gem to the hotel. I will definitely stay again!!!

All advertised amenities listed were not put in room, front desk wasnt very helpful with my questions about late night dining, room was very noisy above us and next to us. Cleaning staff came knocking at our door when i had already setup late reservations 2hrs ahead of time. Appreciated the style of the rom/setup.

Staff were so helpful and kind. Room was clean, comfortable and stylish.

Not good early or late check in for property events

The staff was very friendly from the second we entered the door. I mentioned a discrepancy with their website and the pet policy; they were receptive and made sure that it would be corrected as soon as possible. Once they learned that we were there for a wedding, they ensured that we were all on the same floor to be together. I’m nitpicking but there was some minor things that I wanted to note: our room phone didn’t work (but we just used our cells to call room service) and the TV had a shortage causing the signal to jump every 3 seconds but it fixed itself after a few hours of staying on. Otherwise everything was great!

The stay was wonderful. The staff were friendly rooms were super clean. Needs pool and breakfast.

I loved the interior design, with a contemporary style.
The amenities in the rooms like the charger devices, notebook, etc, were a great surprise and different from other hotels.
