I booked the room weeks out through Booking and called the hotel at the same time just to double confirm availability. When I arrived, after having to call 4 phone numbers from a sign posted on the door, I finally reached someone not even on site. I was informed no room would be available and my confirmation would not be honored because no rooms were available because the housekeeper did not show up. Only 2 cars were in the parking lot. I then booked a room withthe only other hotel open in town to realize the owner and manager were the same as this hotel. I was charged $35 more for the new room vs the one I confirmed, and offered no other recourse. This owner/manager of Regency Hotel and Quality Inn seem to be runnimg a scam to force patrons to the more expensive hotel.

Pros:

We were exhausted after hours on the road and stumbled upon this inn. It turned out to be the perfect little stop. The room was cozy, the air conditioning worked great, and we finally got the rest we needed. Woke up refreshed and ready to continue our drive.
