My stay at MARS Hotel was extremely disappointing. On the first night, we were given a room with a non-functional AC. Despite repeated complaints, the front desk manager, Devesh, was unresponsive and wasted 2–3 hours offering other rooms with the same issue. We also noticed that we had paid extra for a Deluxe room but were given a lower-category room instead. The staff, including the manager, showed a clear lack of honesty and professionalism. I would strongly advise against staying here.

Pros:

Overall this property was ok to stay, I felt it was very basic. The bedding was adequate but needed to refresh. Material used for towels and bedding needed an upgrade. It’s situated in a tight space and the outlook was not inviting. The staff was courteous and dealt with our needs when requested. It was ok for one and I don’t think I would stay here again as we needed a place to relax and unwind. We chose this place because it was close to Harminder Sahib. If having to do it again I would chose something further from the Gurudwara with a better location and a bit of higher end to relax after a busy day.

Good place, but could be a bit better considering the high price
Pros:

Very close to the Golden Temple. Large and clean rooms. The staff was very helpful.

Cons:

Water leaks in multiple rooms, some light fixtures were missing. The safety deposit box was out of batteries.

Facilities/ service of the hotel could be better - the shower could do with shower screen, living room could do with a TV, access to public transport (uber/rickshaw) can be difficult considering the narrow street.
