Room was absolutely decadent. Bed was so comfortable and bedding was exquisite.
Online information wasn’t accurate. Hotel offered free breakfast vs the drink voucher.
Love the location in the history
The shower was a touch confusing
The breakfast buffet was delicious and varied
Historical hotel and weekend entertainment
The fireplace in the lobby.
The rocking chairs on the front porch. A restaurant and bar in the hotel.
A beauiful place with alot of antiques.
The food at the Carriage House restaurant could be better. Chicken wings were not crispy and was cold. Brownies cold be thicker and hot.
Breakfast was wonderful
The pillows were kind of flat
The newly renovated historic hotel was charming (and I've never used that word before), particularly the basement Speakeasy bar. The use of original fixtures and furnishing the interior with genuine antiques adds warmth. Linens, towels and bedding were remarkable better than the usual "standard." Very comfortable. The included breakfast buffet was very ample, tasteful and convenient. Situated right on the Burnsville Town Square, you couldn't ask for a more suitable location We were also extremely lucky to be able to park (free) right at the curb in front of the hotel during our entire 4-day stay, even after making multiple trips daily in the local area.
The main dining room was extremely noisy during the Saturday night dinner, such that conversation even to those sitting next to you was impossible. The kitchen and wait staff were overwhelmed Saturday night with the normal dining area full plus accommodating two private functions at the same time, but they tried to do their best. Burnsville is a quaint small historic town that goes to bed early, where there are only a few dining and drink options available. Scheduled closing times for the three bars and two restaurants might need to be revisited, particularly when the main (Speakeasy) bar was closed to the public on a Saturday night and nearly all other nearby restaurants are closed on Sunday and Monday. Closing the main hotel restaurant at 4 PM on Sunday didn't seem to make much sense. Word of caution to those affected. This is a renovated historic hotel; there are steps and stairs, and no elevator. Not a problem for us, but other than the main dining room (with a ramp), it understandably is not conducive for those with limited mobility. This isn't a complaint, but it should be noted.
Didn’t have it
Room was small. I stubbed my toe
It was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on. The historic character was very unique and romantic.
Unique and quaint
I loved the property.
Love the location, the staff were friendly and courteous, the included breakfast was fantastic!
The staff was very friendly and the Inn was beautiful.
The breakfast was a nice bonus. The rooms were very clean and spacious. We enjoyed walking to the stores and restaurants around the square and down the street. The Inn is located near some really nice hiking trails as well.
The breakfast was excellent, the service was wonderful, the ambience charming.
Our only challenge was not having an elevator. My partner (a veteran) has neuropathy and the stairs were a challenge. We managed but now that we've been there we know that we cannot handle a 3d floor room.
Amazing property- renovation on the property was exceptional- tons of vintage charm, staff was amazing
