Really cozy hotel with gorgeous ocean view!!
We slept so well and every detail was so thoughtful
I would recommend this hotel in a heart beat!
There isuch to recommend tjis location. Beautiful location, comfortable accommodations, very friendly and helpful staff.
Everyone was so friendly from the moment we checked in until we checked out. We were only there one evening wish we could have stayed longer beautiful grounds with chairs to sit outside and relax. The room was so clean and the bed and pillows were the best so comfortable!
High Tide Inn is a very charming Inn.
Holly and Mark went out of their way to make our stay memorable!
The rooms were clean and cute. You can stay in the Inn, separate cottages, or in the ocean front rooms not attached to the Inn.
Breakfast is included and not to be missed are Mark’s famous Pop-overs!
Our favorite place when visiting Maine! Great location and the homemade popovers and muffins in the morning are wonderful! The oceanfront rooms are our favorite as are the cottages.

We booked an oceanfront room 6 months before our stay. We received an email the day before our stay stating they had a structural problem and were moving us. We were way up the hill. Seems to me someone who booked 6 months ahead should get preference as to where they would be located. The room was very small and the bathroom was extremely small. When we turned the water on we got soaked as it splashed everywhere. There were very few electrical outlets. I seldom give a review, but we were very unhappy.

When we registered, Mark took us around the property and told us about where we could see the sunrise and where the moon would come up. So nice that it’s not all about how great the property is, because it is awesome, but he included information about how we could enjoy where the property was located. There was a beautiful view of the sunrise from the beach! There were many sitting places around the property where one could sit by themselves, with another person, or around a fire pit chatting with other travelers. Room #7 has an outstanding view through a sliding door. Large bathroom and living space. The popovers that were freshly prepared each morning were light and flaky, we only stayed a couple of days but would have enjoyed spending more time at the High Tide Inn.
Swing chair on property was great for relaxing and watching and listening to the ocean. Friendly staff. Clean room. Well water tastes good.
Ocean was visible from the porch. The beds were comfy. The shower needs to be redone. Old shower panels and shower head. The space was also small. The staff was friendly and accommodating. This was a room not a cabin and not the room shown in the advertisement. Breakfast was good but lacking in variety Hope the new owner will up date a bit. Would stay there again.

We stayed one night at High Tide Inn in Camden on our way up the coast to Acadia. We are southerners, so we stuck out like a sore thumb! This was our first time to Maine, and we loved everything about our trip! Our stay at the High Tide Inn was one of the most enjoyable stops of our trip. The property is in a beautiful setting with a peaceful, relaxed feel and easy access to the water. The views are amazing!
They’re in the process of renovating the inn, and our room was one of the newly updated ones. It was bright, clean, and really well done. It felt fresh and comfortable, and you could tell they’re putting a lot of care into improving the property.
What really stood out was the hospitality. John and Mark and the rest of the team were both welcoming and helpful from the moment we arrived! We told them we were from Tennessee and of course we started talking about Football! Ha! In the morning, we enjoyed coffee on the porch with some of the other guests. This was a really enjoyable experience. Getting to know people you knew you would never see again! And Mark’s popovers and blue berry muffins were excellent.
Even though our stay was short, our time at the High Tide Inn was memorable, and we would 100% return the next time we come to Maine (oh it’s happening again)! Support this local small business!

The property was beautiful. The view was amazing. I could hear the waves. There were several great chairs to sit and watch the water. The Inn Keeper was outstanding. The next time that I am in the area I will stay there

It was a wonderful stay. Epic views and very well staffed. I would recommend a stay here any time. The new owners went above and beyond when there was an issue with the TV. Came after 8pm to get us a TV that would work.
The cottage we stayed in was quiet, beautifully finished and felt like the perfect quiet retreat. We loved the pebble beach and the ocean views from the property. We watched the sun rise from our bedroom window, it was perfect. The bedding was super soft and the cottage was warm and cosy. My only regret is that we only stayed for one night!
I highly recommend The High Tide Inn for the friendly, caring staff and the quaintness of the inn.
