Overall okay and good location, but you only get exactly what you need - a bed and a bathroom 😅

Super pleasant staff and nice location close to everything

Cons:

The room was tiny - I know this is a general thing in Japan, but here it was quite extreme. We had a double room and could not even have both suitcases open at the same time. Also amenities were on the sparse side - no housekeeping for 5 nights.

Wonderful stay at Hop Inn in Kyoto
Pros:

We had a wonderful stay at Hop Inn Kyoto. The room was spotless, well-equipped, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. We originally booked a semi-double room but were able to upgrade to a spacious twin room at check-in for a small additional fee. The staff were very helpful and accommodating throughout. The bathroom was clean and modern, with all the amenities we needed. We also appreciated the convenient on-site coin laundry and luggage scale. There’s even a public bath available for guests, which looked nice even though we didn’t get the chance to try it.

Cons:

There were only 2 washing machines and 2 dyers in the coin laundry room, so we had to time our laundry and wait for other people. The hotel also doesn't offer luggage sending services, but you can send your luggage at the Lawson convenience store right next door with no max weight limit (only a suitcase dimension limit).

Отличное расположение! Много автобусных остановок вокруг. Можно добраться до любого места. Использовали карту Гугл. Налево от отеля метрах в 100 есть станция, откуда ходит поезд в Арасияму и до золотого храма. Есть билет за 700 иен на весь день. Направо от отеля через дорогу есть магазин Фемили март. Чего там только нет!! Отель чистый, персонал помогающий. Где рецепшн есть чай, кофе, расчёски, бритвы, резиночки и всякая мелочь. За доп плату есть завтрак.
Отель рекомендую.
