Pros:

The best part of our trip was staying here with our three young children. We stayed on the top floor. We enjoyed the treats and drinks in the fridge. The view, private onsen, foot bath, and sauna is an experience well worth every penny. Our family loves community and connection… you cant do that with Rakuten because they are purely transactional. However, you can find the connection with kind people in the community. Some parts of the place were dusty because I notice when I pay for a place. The beds were VERY comfortable and we had the best sleep in Japan at this hotel than any other. The accessible areas to explore by just walking out your door is perfection. We love this place so much and hope to return for a longer stay in the near future.

Immaculately clean and organized. Love the view of Mt Fuji from the large windows. Private Onsen overlooking. Mt Fuji was a treat!

A great gateway
Pros:

As long as you can read an email or scan a QR code, you will be fine. Check-in and check-out process is easy. Location is great, a 7-11 is about a five minute walk. Free drinks in the fridge was a nice step too.

Apartment was nice, so good to have mineral bath and foot bath, very quiet & beautiful views of the lake. Shame no restaurants open at night in the area but 7/11 was close.

Beautiful and romantic with views of Fuji if the weather is right (almost never, such is life). Excellent personal onsen (mini mineral bath), very romantic. Slippers, pyjamas, soaps provided. Even a telescope and star projector! The place is very spacious for a family with two kids. Big kitchen and dining and living room. Big balcony with private foot bath. Big projector screen and you can stream video to it from your phone.

Not much dining in the area. In fact, all of Hakone hasn't much dining but here is even less. Big 7-11 nearby and you can get many breakfast items there.

The two beds are in the same room so if you are with your children then after they go to sleep you will need to be creative. However, the apartment is big and the opportunities are plenty. No problem.

Great property with view to Mount Fuji from the private onsen. The room is large and has a good sized kitchen and a washing machine. Location is close to 7 Eleven and bus stop. Kids loved the projector and telescope.

Excellent stay. Clean and confortable. Loved all the amenities. The onsen and foot soak were so relaxing snd the view was stunning from the patio. My kids loved the telescope and the galaxy night light. Loved the drinks in the fridge. Would highly reccomend. We were aware of the luggage storage issue, so we did the loop with our bags, a little annoying. But it was worth it, we loved this stay.
