Pros:

Property was clean and provided all the necessary that are needed for stay. Staff were really helpful and welcoming. I enjoyed the steam bath.

Pros:

Very nice staff. Room was very spacious. I thought it would be old, but it was nicely updated. Not fancy, but nice and clean bathroom.

Cons:

I wish there were instructions for how to make the Japanese futon bed yourself.

Pros:

Man konnte sehr günstig Fahrräder ausleihen; die Lage war sehr gut, unmittelbar am See und an einer Bushaltestelle, an der auch Expressbusse nach Tokio abfahren.

Cons:

Ich bat die Rezeption eine Busreservierung für mich auszudrucken, was leider trotz zweimaligem Nachfragen (einmal vorab per Mail und einmal vor Ort) nicht geklappt hat.

Pros:

Das Personal war fantastisch! Beim Checkout haben wir einen Geldbeutel im Zimmer vergessen (!!); das Personal hat uns sofort kontaktiert und angeboten, ihn auf deren Kosten an uns zu schicken! Wir haben fürs Zuschicken bezahlt, aber der Service und Ehrlichkeit waren phenomenal. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Cons:

Gäste aus Europa: es gibt hier ‘Japanese-Style‘ Betten, also: dünne Futons liegst du auf den Boden. Für uns Europäer sehr hart und nicht bequem.

The hotel was clean but it was old.
Pros:

The staff was very friendly. The room was a good size.

The futons were quite thin. I thought there would be good views of Mt. Fuji from the hotel but there were now good views.

If you are looking for traditional japan room, this is the place!
Pros:

The staff was very kind and the room was absolutely impressive! It was exactely what we were searching in Japan. Of all the places we stayed in Japan this room was the best.
Onsen was great also!
