Great staff, great cost, great view, great traditional Japanese hotel and a spacious room.
Pros:

I checked in late so only saw one staff that night. He was nice, pleasant and attentive. The lady I saw when leaving my room for check out was also nice. The room was bigger than I expected, and was clean. I enjoyed the traditional design (one main room and another section at the window with a view to rest and enjoy with a little fridge. I was also surprised with the extra area at the front door area. The view was beautiful with the lake and the alps in the distance with a crisp air (it was a winter morning). They had a yukata for a child as well. The cost of one night stay and no cost to a toddler were super reasonable for the quality I received at this place. I also found a convenience store very close although I did not need to go. They offer a simple breakfast and dinner at a low price too. The heater was very efficient, so did not feel the coldness at all and the hot water (which was very hot) came put from the tap very quickly.

Cons:

Nothing from me:) I am from Japan, living overseas. To me I enjoyed every part of the night at the place (e.g. the room, the building, everything I remember from when I was a kid). Depending on each person's expectations (esp for overseas travelers maybe?), they might want more??? E.g. newer building (it is a 40 year old hotel which i loved more than new fancy accommodations), not needing to set up futon by yourself, big dining services within the hotel.

スタッフの方が親切でした。
カレーも美味しかったです。
シャンプー・リンス、ボディソープもよいものでした。

清潔で、スタッフがあたたかかったです。
Pros:

スタッフの方々がとても感じよく接してくださいました。
賄いカレーも美味しかったです。
部屋も隅々まで清掃され、清潔でした。

Cons:

外国人の宿泊客が上の階で暴れていて、大変うるさかったです。
でもホテルのせいではないです。
国籍関係なく、皆が快適に利用できるように客側が気をつけるべきです。

A traditional hotel with a good onsen and friendly service, but the ageing facilities
Pros:

The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the onsen bath was enjoyable. Amenities were generous, and the location was very convenient, with a 7-Eleven just a short walk away.

Cons:

The hotel felt quite aged, and the bathroom shower was barely functional, spraying water everywhere except straight, which made it frustrating to use.

Incroyable!!! Les réceptionnistes sont adorables, tout le personnel est avenant et même s'ils ne parlent pas toujours anglais le traducteur est notre meilleur ami!
Le curry pour le dîner est exceptionnel pour 500yen. Les chambres de type japonaises sont très propres et confortables.
La localisation est parfaite, en face de l'arrêt de bus vers Shinjuku. Il est possible de louer des vélos pour faire le tour du lac, à ne pas manquer!

也是意料之外不錯的酒店，門口有大停車場，停車超方便，性價比高，有三層，房間很多，房間是日式和风，簡潔，但絕對能讓你和风住宿日风格，山中湖比起河口湖相对住宿日跟飲食選擇都少些，但酒店出門走路5分鐘內能到逹一家seven，一出酒店对面馬路就是坐河馬水陸船的地方，如果是自駕，晚上吃飯跟去拍星空甚至清晨拍富士山日出都很方便，彩蛋也是我第二天離店前才去体驗是酒店有自己的大浴場，大溶場外有一小片人造景，早上泡着温泉看着这景色，也是一絕，非常寫意，強烈推薦給大家，性價比高，体驗絕对超預期

チェックアウトの時、道の駅を教えてもらえてよかった
水がおいしいのか、フロント脇のコーヒーが美味しかった
部屋に強力な暖房器具があり、暖かく快適だった
大浴場はたまたま貸切状態で人がおらず良かった

Cons:

ゴキブリの死骸がいた
お米のご飯が水分多めで美味しくなかった
おふろの移動が一度外に出て通路を歩くので寒かった
フロントに電話しても通じないことがあった
