I fully recommend Maan Vilas for your stay in Udaipur.

I am traveling with my parents and needed a last minute booking in Udaipur. They were really helpful and efficient with our request, and after many hours of travel we arrived to a beautiful hotel and a cozy room, clean and reliable. At all times, the attention and service was very kind. Upstairs, at the restaurant Satveer and the staff were very kind and promptly helped us with dinner. I want to congratulate them for their professionalims and detail in their service. Breakfast was great with so many choices, and the other food we tried was excellent! I appreciated that they checked in on us during our stay to see how it was going.

The hotel is at a good location (15 min rickshaw to tourism area, 20 min train station), away from crowd and noise. We had a really restful and comfortable stay.

It’s good value for money. The room was very spacious and clean, and the area is quiet. The breakfast was okay; not a lot of variety, but fair for the price. The staff were friendly.

Cons:

One downside was that the staff didn’t check or refill the shower gel and shampoo regularly. Even after we asked for them to be replenished, they forgot. We ordered food to the room, but unfortunately, my husband got a stomach ache the next day after eating the chicken. Apart from that, it’s a decent hotel overall.

Wonderful hotel, not so wonderful location
Pros:

Very nice hotel with attentive staff. Spacious and clean rooms with comfortable beds. Food was fine. The pool was absolutely freezing and unusable and the location wasn’t great - it’s a taxi ride from Pichola lake and is in quite an underdeveloped area.
