Very kind staff. Nice atmosphere. Good breakfast, though simple.

Our 2 night stay at this beautifully renovated property was excellent, made especially so by the friendly and helpful staff. With a delightful garden it is very much an oasis in the city centre. Our room was extremely spacious and comfortable, and although offering only light bites the food both during the day and at breakfast was very good.

Der Service war einmalig. Man war nicht nur eine Nummer, wie in anderen Luxushotels. Es fühlte sich wie Zuhause an. Es war die richtige Entscheidung dieses Hotel zu buchen und können es uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Die Hotels an der Copacabana sind unserer Meinung das Geld nicht wert und überbewertet und man kann keine 5min liegen ohne das ein Verkäufer kommt. Bucht daher bitte dieses Hotel als eure Oase im Rio!

The staff immediately welcomed you with refreshments and a tour with a brief history of the property. They were superb. The room was gorgeous as was the entire hotel.

This hotel is spectacular -
The breakfast was delicious and the staff accommodating. The rooms are huge with a balcony and there is lots of extra space to use if needed. The pool and the planting are divine - really lovely watching hummingbirds dive into the pool and fly away. A very special place to stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Paranaguá, a beautiful boutique hotel full of charm and character. The entire staff was incredibly friendly and attentive — from reception to the bar and the breakfast team.
Everything was perfect and it’s truly an ideal place to relax after a long day of sightseeing in Rio. The atmosphere is calm, elegant, and welcoming.
The hotel is not located in the main tourist area, but that actually adds to its appeal. Ubers are plentiful, inexpensive, and make getting around very easy.
Highly recommended if you’re looking for a peaceful, stylish place to stay — a real gem hidden in Rio.

This is a spectacular boutique hotel in Rio. The staff are outstanding. The “bar food” (no big restaurant) is excellent: French, delicious, interesting, well presented. The ambiance is architectural interesting, attention to small detail, artistic, lovely, welcoming. An outstanding decor. The outside is beautifully designed with gardens, seating area, pool area, outdoor dining: all with a flair for landscaping and decor. The views of Rio from this hilltop location are spectacular. This is a hidden gem. Do not miss it!

L'hotel est trés cosy avec une belle piscine entourée de verdure. Le spa est petit mais la masseuse française etait tres competente et masse merveilleusement bien.

Nou avons passé une nuit en famille dans cet établissement extraordinaire. Tout était parfait! Le personnel pro et bienveillant, l'hôtel dans une magnifique demeure coloniale, le SPA, la piscine immense, le restauration très bien. Les propriétaires sont également fort sympathiques. Mention spéciale pour la réceptionniste qui a tout fait pour rendre notre séjour au top. Tout le monde était très avenant et l'accueil personnalisé quand on arrive est très appréciable. La déco de la demeure est sans faute, tout est de bon gout.
