The property is close to the market which is a plus. However the place was not well cleaned.

Pros:

I really enjoyed both my stays at The Pal. It's a very nice property, well-kept, a convenient short walk from the main market. The stroll down the street never got old.

The room was tidy. The shower was plenty refreshing after an 8-day trek. Breakfast was good.

The staff was especially friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed my time at The Pal and look forward to staying again next time I visit wonderful Leh.

Beautiful hotel close to town
Pros:

Loved all the amenities and the relaxing decor. Little gift shop of local artisans was a nice touch. Good dinner, though not every menu item was available. Loved it!
