The Cygnett Inn is an excellent hotel. Clean, great food, etc.
Pros:

The food at the Cygnett Inn was always excellent. The breakfasts were diverse and good. My room was clean and comfortable and there was a huge window providing city views. The bathroom was clean and everything worked well.

Cons:

The front desk people weren't especially knowledgeable about the workings of the city, such as location of buses to various places outside of town.

Excellent stay and the people were great!
Pros:

Great breakfast and the staff were excellent. Neha, Sila, Hassina, Akashi, and Bhaskam were attentive and constantly helpful. And they have music provided by a solo singer/guitarist on weekend nights in the restaurant. Very fun.

Cons:

Single containers of soap, etc. would be better than the large containers affixed to the wall.

Nice functional hotel in Tezpur town centre
Pros:

Good town centre location. We could walk to the Maha Bhairabab Sivan temple.
Which was needed as the roads were blocked for Siva Raatri.

It was excellent stay in Tezpur
Pros:

We had leak in one room out of three rooms, otherwise very happy with staff, food was very good, bar was good and had lots of choice , live singer in food hall, will recommend and will stay again.
