Taj The Trees, Mumbai

A beautiful property located in quick proximity to eastern expressway and yet has its own calm with nice rooms and restaurants. The entire experience from checkin to checkout was nicely managed and even enjoyed inroom enhancements curated specially for our anniversay the room service was prompt and met our expectations and so was rooftop bar "Mangrove Bar" where Gin distillery is being setup (still not operational) yet had some amazing cocktails and snacks.

Whilst this property is still fairly new Vivek has created a customer first experience. ALL of the staff are a credit to Taj and I just hope this continues with the hotel itself being busy yet an oasis of calm in the city...

This was a spontaneous booking for me. Loved the overall experience. Best part of the hotel is it's location. Usually most of the hotels have a lot of buzz around owning to traffic or mainland location. This one, while in the middle of the city, had such a peaceful calming atmosphere. Surrounded by the trees one side and city lights the other, it felt best of the both worlds. I enjoyed the room aesthetics, super comforting bathroom amenities and lounging on pampering sofa gazing into the sunset. I will 100% recommend this hotel - not only to travellers but also those living in the city and looking for a solo staycation (like i did). Another thing I would like to mention is the pool. omg, there's no other city hotel pool (except the one near Juhu), come close to what Taj Trees have to offer.

My stay at Taj The Trees, Mumbai was absolutely amazing. It is a true 5-star property, extremely peaceful, calm, and surrounded by beautiful views. The ambience is very relaxing and perfect for a comfortable stay.
Jordan made my check-in fast and smooth, which really set a great start to our experience.
I had requested a celebration cake, and the property very thoughtfully arranged it. My little brother truly loves their cake, and they kindly provided it—it meant a lot to us ❤️.
A special thanks to the housekeeping manager, Brija ji, who personally came to give me skincare-related amenities. This personal touch made me feel very cared for.
The staff is very sweet, warm, and welcoming. The food is excellent, and the view from the window 🪟 along with the amazing aroma made the dining experience even more special.

My wife Daksha and I stayed at Taj The Trees on the nights of 21st and 22nd December to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary, thoughtfully planned by our children, Sagar and Sanjana.

I wish to place on record our sincere appreciation for the warmth, care, and personal attention extended to us by the entire team. We are especially grateful to Ms. Joyee Moitra, Front Office Manager, for her gracious hospitality and thoughtful oversight, and to Chef Narayan Dighe, who ensured that our breakfast experience on both days was truly delightful and taken care of with personal attention.

The room decoration with balloons, the anniversary banner on the bed, and the beautifully arranged cake were touching surprises that made our stay truly memorable. These thoughtful gestures transformed a simple staycation into a meaningful celebration of four decades together.

Throughout our stay, we felt relaxed, welcomed, and genuinely cared for. It is the people behind the service who made this experience special for us.

Although we were sceptical about our visit to The Trees because we are used to going to sea faced properties but we were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful views of the mangroves and changed our perspective. The staff is great, the food is unmatched overall a very nice experience

We had a wonderful stay at Taj The Trees, and it truly exceeded our expectations. We were there to celebrate my wife’s birthday, and the level of hospitality and attention to detail from the team was simply outstanding.

The rooms were comfortable, well-appointed, and relaxing. The breakfast spread was outstanding, with a great variety and excellent quality. We also enjoyed spending time at the Mangrove Bar, which offers amazing drinks along with beautiful views definitely a highlight of the property.
Overall, it was a flawless experience with exceptional service and hospitality. 10/10 stay- highly recommended, and we would definitely love to visit again.

We booked suite room with taj club access.
Room was big and spacious, view was excellent.
Breakfast spread was good.
High tea was good, but not much variety in food options.
Cocktail night was good, but they were not serving any cocktail only raw drinks, also not much variety in food.

Swimming was pool open but water was very cold, it was not fully temperature controlled.
They have too much rules and policies and staff is not well educated on that.
They told kids are not allowed on cocktail night but then allowed it.
They were not sure about age limit to use Sauna and steam, some said 16 and some said 18. They didn't have any reason why its not allowed, very bad experience since kids couldn't enjoy it.
Usually other hotels ask if there is any occasion we are celebrating if we visit with family, but they didn't bother to ask.
We told them to do some ballon decoration in room, it was done like any 2 star hotel will do, they should upgrade their skills.

I would like to begin by saying a Huge Thank you to all who thought of this poperty Taj in Mumbai . Having stayed in some other Taj hotels over many years , I really needed a new place within Mumbai and Taj Trees is just what I needed . I chose to stay here on 8 and 9 Dec 2025 to celebrate my Birthday . Needless to say to create such an amazing genuinely awesome guest experience One needs a Big Talented committed team- So I really thank everyone in this hotel . Of course some I met and spoke to closely mentioning their names here - Riddhima , Rajat , Kapil and Omkar at Taj lounge where I spent so much time . The culinary team - chefs Vaibhav Katkar , Krish , Chand and Paresh at Shamiana - one of the best breakfast ever seen and enjoyed by me . Anand , Neil , Tausif , Atharva and Katherine in FnB- Shamiana ( they made my birthday special with their service mindset ) . Lalrinliani at Tea lounge for her kind service , Kedar at Front desk for a smooth check out experience , Amisha ( therapist ) at J Spa and Akshay at Spa for a truly value for money . I am absolutely amazed to see that in lobby an artist always plays music / instument - it was Gaurva playing handpan ( I learnt this for first time ) - I spent so much time sitting in lobby just listening to it and shared the video with many on my social media account. The one person who was first to welcome me , then take me to the parts of the property for a tour and who was my point of contact throught was Sreyas from Concierge ( a young professional with so much potential ) . Thank you Taj , we miss Mr. Ratan Tata but his legacy is felt in Taj Trees in every corner ( Art , Opulence , Culture ) and through every person I met at the hotel . One thing I feel is the entire property is just about right - nothing over the top and still so beautiful . Glad we in Mumbai ahve this .

We visited Shamiana restaurant for dinner. The ambience and vibe was good.

The buffet spread offers every variety from chat, Italian, medical, Indian and even Middle Eastern.

Sumit was an excellent host helped us experience every flavor available. He even arranged a nice cake for the special occasion after the dinner.

It was an excellent dinner experience. We loved the hospitality and welcoming attitude of the staff.

In the club lounge which was very well maintained and the exceptional service provided by Harsh taking care of all our food and beverage needs. Great conversation very hospitable made all of is feel like home.

Service was too good from check in to check out I am a patient so wanted some food request the chef called and prepared food according to what I said all staff are very helpful only one request was der once to check the water bottle provided in room it seems to be not filter some bad taste was der rest all was too goid

Food was amazing. The murgh makhani was possibly the best we’ve ever had. Breakfast truly had an amazing spread and variety.

Taj as defined it is luxury and food was also luxury. Good Stay, Good Sanity. Thank you every staff for giving a good experience.
