Warning! Overbooking & no refund.Big scam!!
Pros:

Warning!! A complete scam!!!
Arriving at the hotel 21:00 two men sitting in a "lobby" sofa claiming they were fully booked. When I showed the reservation for two nights he only asked me how much I paid?! He also blaimed Expedia/Hotels.
He mentioned some space behind the reception that someone was already sleeping in, as an alternative?!
I asked to see the room but I was not allowed to. Suddenly he said that room wasn't available either?!
I asked him to cancel and give me a refund.
He said I would get an email from Hotels.com in 1 hour as a proof.
I had to walk to another nearby hotel and pay again. Next day I still hadn't got any message from Hotels.com. I tried 2 hours the same evening to chat with Hotels AI robots but no real person gave me any real support, as a Gold member and world traveller using Hotels.com very frequently I now see how they ignore the end users like me. It's just a cynical money machine.
My recommendation; Stop using the booking companies. You get much better deals directly at the respective hotels, ask to see the room upon arrival. If satisfactory , then pay in their currency, cash or credit!
