Staff were fab. Breakfast was good. Room was small but sufficient.
Few things were broken in bathroom.
Stairs were a bit scary.
Everything was made easy. A simple hotel in a good location with lovely extremely helpful staff. It was more than enough and then some.
No complaints.
The location is excellent as it was very near to public transportation. There was a main bus station just infront of the hotel, a tramway station in just a 5 minutes walk & a metro station in less than a 10 minutes walk. There were also many restaurants & supermarkets just a few steps away. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. There was hot water in the shower & the wifi & the air condition were functioning very well. Also, the room was not noisy at all despite the presence of the main bus station just below the hotel. Mr.Timor the Manager was a very friendly & helpful person. He always asked us if we needed anything and was promptly responsive to all our requests. I would like to personally thank him for his hospitality & care.
Basically there was nothing we disliked. However, to be honest we did not try the breakfast as we preferred to go directly to our sight seeing activities and have a late breakfast in the city.

We requested for a airport pickup and it was arranged by hotel staff but in arrival there was no one to pick up and we had to arrange a taxi from airport
Even it wAs double confirmed by hotel that pick up is confirmed but no one came to receive

I will come back and will recommend to all my friend, specially I want to thank to Timur best person we ever met, he works as receptionist but he is fabulous. We want to express our gratitude to Timur, cheerfully and wonderful person, he helped us a lot with making visit plan to Ist. Thanks to him we managed to see so many places as we had wonderful organization
My husband and me would like to highlight the proficiency of Mr. Timur. He knows everything about Istanbul including the best routes. His helpfulness is really exceptional. The breakfast was delicious and lavish. The cleaning service was daily, also the towels were changed every day. The chambermaids were kind and helpful, too. There is a metro and bus station and a tram stop nearby, from where you can easily get to the centre.
I would like to highlight the nearest kebab restaurant called Gaziantepli Temizo. We wilI definitely recommend Hotel Yuvam Akmarmara to everybody who wants to visit Istanbul.

I will definitely be recommending this hotel. I stayed with my daughter for a week. Although our room was very small and there was no full size wardrobe, we felt comfortable. The cleaning service was daily, also the towels were changed daily. The hotel itself was quiet, the breakfasts tasty. There is a metro station and a tram stop nearby, from where you can easily get to the centre.
There is a bus station next to the hotel. The windows of our room faced this side, but this was not a problem in terms of noise. One of the greatest assets of the hotel is the receptionist Timur - very helpful and friendly.
Staff are nice and extremly helpful. The hotel is located close to the T1 tramway line , by which all important place can be reached.
Connection to IST airport is very simple, ( M11 metro and 41ST bus ) .The bus station is next to the hotel entrance.

A very clean 2 star hotel (every day cleaning, bedsheet changing service every second day, free toiletries and slippers), tasty buffet ( 4 sorts of local cheese, boiled eggs, olives, chickpeas soup, tomatoes, cucumbers, butter, honey, Nutella, jam, fresh pastries, coffee, tea).

Very helpful and friendly staff, eager to offer you directions for the sights to see and even to guide you in person. We really thank Mr. Timur, the receptionist, for his availability to help us with the sightseeing tips and with the HGS toll which is compulsory for those who travel by car în Turkey. All our appreciation to you!
Free parking in front of the hotel. There is a bus terminal for local transport nearby which connects with any important place in Istanbul. Also close to metro and tramway stations.
A lot of shops and restaurants serving delicios traditional food around and having good prices.
Definitely, it was a good stay here and we hope to come back soon! . I really recommend this hotel for those who want to spend their
vacation in this wonderful city!
A weak point is the size of the room, a bit too small (10-12 sqm). We had a triple room with one large bed and 2 single beds, but it was not an inconvenient for us and the kids because we did not stay much inside.
An automatic coffee machine in the breakfast area would be useful.
