Stunning location for a quick stop over in beautiful Kalkan.
Pros:

Convenient stunning location, easily accessible to the beach, restaurants, shops and beautiful views of Kalkan. Excellent hospitality from staff - from bus stop pick up and drop off, assistance with onward transport planning, breakfast and overall prompt and responsive service.

Cons:

The room was on the small side, although acceptable for one person for one night's stay. The bathroom could be better designed in terms of shower drainage.

Beware of extra charges!
Pros:

Great peaceful location, very close to all amenities.
Ali was an exceptional member of staff with fabulous customer service and communication skills and an absolute gem.

We understand that we were the first guests of the season.

Cons:

Despite being booked weeks in advance, no-one knew of our booking. We had to wait a good 30 mins for a room, despite being the only guests. We speak a little Turkish but this was not sufficient and the bare chested guy who greeted us (the manager?) spoke very little English.
No passport details were taken. No details for breakfast or WiFi given.
The toilet stained. There was a kettle was in room but no base/plug and was dirty in any event. No coffee/tea etc available either.
The safe was sat on the top of the wardrobe so wasn't easily accessible but for anyone tall enough, it also wasn't secured so could easily have been removed. No hangers in the wardrobe. We asked for these ( in Turkish) and the guy came back with 4 random ones from other rooms.
Shower didn't drain correctly. 2 blackout blinds missing.
Fortunately the next morning Ali was there at breakfast time.
Breakfast was delicious aside from a mouldy tomato and dirty plate.
We were asked to give our honest feedback, which we did and Ali then asked for our permission before ringing the owner to make him aware of the issues. He thanked us for being honest with him.
At no point did we make a big deal about any of these issues as we hoped that everything could be taken on board and the necessary improvements made for the next guests.
During breakfast we were asked if we would like coffee. We had two small cups each.

Unfortunately Ali had left before it was time for us to check out. When it came to checking out, we were presented with the bill for the room PLUS a bill for the four coffees! Each coffee was £3. It was obvious that the manager wasn't happy with us and would not accept that the coffees should have been part of breakfast which was included in the room price, especially taking into account that no tea / coffee facilities had been available in our room. This was the final straw and we were made to feel very uncomfortable and unwelcome.
