Oh wow, where do I start? KOKO Hotel was one of the best hotels I've ever been to. Aside from only two minor things listed down below, everything else was pretty much perfect.
Starting with location: 15 min walk to Sendai main station, 2-3 min walk to taiyaki place and Sushiro, similar time to the main shopping passage of Sendai (Clis Road). There are bus stops and metro entrances right next to the hotel.
The room size was fantastic, there was a neat storage for suitcases right under the main desk. Enough space for two people and two large suitcases - at no point we felt cramped.
Staff service was absolutely brilliant - they were always present, all queries were addressed straight away, everyone was always polite and smiling, most of the staff spoke English.
The bed was really good for Japanese standards. On the firmer side, but still really comfy. And the pillow! It was that weird bean/grain/pellet style of hard pillow on one end, and softer on the other. Wow, the grain side works wonders. Perfect head support for the whole night.
There were plenty of smaller things which were fantastic as well: amenities smelled great, loved the room lighting including dimming, free "amenities bar" for toothbrushes, razors, tea, etc., option to deliver and store suitcases.
Magnificent! I would definitely come back.

There were genuinely only two smaller downsides.
We felt the window in our room was not too well insulated. As much as internal insulation was really solid (we couldn't hear the other rooms), the external insulation lacked a little - we could hear the street noise at night and there was a cold air draft that potentially causing me some throat problems.
As for laundry - there is one washing machine and a separate dryer provided in the hotel. In our case the laundry was still damp after 2-3 drying cycles, which takes both time and money.

Good sized room with a very comfortable bed. My room was fairly high up so you couldn't hear much of the road from the outside. I thought the room itself was very good for the price, especially in comparison to other business hotels.
Koko hotel seems to be a bit more eco focused than other hotels which is an added bonus.
Awesome location which was far enough away from the station that you don't feel in the middle of everything, but you are still very central and have loads going on around you. You're also in West Sendai which means you're close to a lot of the tourist places like the castle, city museum, mausoleum on Date Masamune, etc.
Bus stops are very nearby and there's a multitude of Konbini and great restaurants on your doorstep.
The staff were very nice and spoke good English.
I was in a room by the elevators which is generally less preferable. You could hear a bit of people coming and going, but not enough to actually disturb you.

仙台駅と近いので、交通便利
全体的に良かった。
食事会場も奥行きがあり広くゆっくり出来た。
ホテル駐車場が無いとの事で近くの立体駐車場に2日間駐車した。
16時入庫で翌々日11時に出庫したが約6000円取られた。
宿泊前に駐車場の件確認したが、近くはどこも同料金との回答だったが、
ちょっと離れてももう少し安い駐車場の情報が欲しい。
朝食が良かった
朝食の場にいたホールスタッフが4人くらい話していて不快だった。手が空いてるなら、汚れてる所や、補充、テーブル拭き等することはあると思います。
