HOTEL LEGASTA KYOTO SHIRAKAWA SANJO

設備や家具など新しく部屋も綺麗でデザインも好みに合ってました。旅行に来たとりあえずの宿ではなく、コスパ以上だと感じました。

Really nice hotel with friendly staff. Laundry on site was great and amemities nice. Great area, super quiet especially after staying in the busy part of Shinjuku right before heading to Kyoto. We had our bags transfered to the hotel no problem, and they helped us transfer to our next stay as well (via Yamoto Transport which was a great and inexpensive service). Overall great hotel!

We got a room that had a small back yard. Loved that the shower and toilet were separate from each other. Stations where in walking distance from each other.

Location excellent walking distance to shopping, Sanjo train station to busses and temples.

The Hotel Legasta was perfect for our stay in Kyoto. The staff were extremely kind and helpful. Although the hotel has a nice contemporary design, the hotel has under 20 rooms and fits well into the traditional neighbourhood, which was a pleasure to walk around and explore. If you have time, we recommend the audio tour promoted by the hotel called The Unknown Stories of Kyoto’s Backstreets. The three rooms making up the bathroom are even more high tech than in other hotels we have stayed in in Japan, but the room guide has translations of the various control panels. We took advantage of the lounge area to eat a takeout meal and to play cards. We also appreciated the clothes washer and dryer, with automatic detergent dispenser so you don’t need to bring any with you.

Staff were majority kind. Room had some bugs crawling.

Close to a subway station and in a quiet neighborhood. Great place to stay.

I was suprised by how good this hotel room was, especially for the price. Got the ground floor room with a small zen garden. Room was larger than expected, with very spacious bathroom. In the lobby was a coin laundry and plenty of tourist information pamphlets for nearby sites, and Kyoto in general.

Location is good; Higashiyama subway station, and several restaurants, and a shopping street within 5 minutes walking distance. Many attractions are within 20 minutes walk.

Would have preferred a chair in the room - a stool is provided but there is plenty of space for something slightly more comfortable.

The staff at the front desk was extremely friendly and accommodating. Also very helpful when it came to getting train tickets etc. They really went above and beyond.

Basic hotel. Very clean. No amenties. Decent sized room and very good value for Kyoto. Staff was friendly. Beds are not very comfortable.

部屋の広さも余裕があり、部屋も綺麗でスタッフの方の対応も良かったです。
こちらの事前の確認不足だったのですが、寝巻きが無かったのだけがが残念でした。

The only complaint I would have is that it was difficult to understand how the hot water in the bath worked (computer controlled) because it was all in Japanese.

周辺も静かで寝る分には良いが清掃がいまいち。
ベッドシーツとお風呂場なの複数の髪の毛が落ちていて少し嫌でした。
