Cons:

Room was dimly light, so that I found it hard to read, except in bed. One section of room was lighted only when entered; even if staying there, light turned off too soon. I did not like to make appointment breakfast. Normally I can get breakfast at other hotels in an extended time interval. « Common » area was small, narrow and seating three people.

Bon hôtel bien placé

Grande chambre. hôtel bien placé

Cons:

Le petit-déjeuner était inclus, mais la qualité ne nous a pas convaincus, ce qui nous a conduits à ne le prendre qu’une seule fois. Odeur de moisissure dans la chambre. Leur restaurant pour le soir était fermé.

Emplacement parfait pour visiter la ville.
Literie impeccable et fan de l’architecture. Mélange du béton avec un mobilier de style. Une réussite.

Enjoyed the city but would not stay at this hotel again.
Pros:

The hotel is in an amazing location for the park and exploring the rest of the city. It’s very beautifully designed and clean too.

Cons:

There was very little light in the room - all the lights are very dim by design, apart from the automatic light by the door which was bright - which was just unnecessary and very frustrating when you’re trying to find things in your suitcase. Our room faced the main road and there was noise from the road that you could hear from our room, the hotel supplied ear plugs. I guess I was sold on how the hotel looked visually but practically it didn’t work very well for us. The lift was very small too for our pram.

Probably one of the nicest boutique hotels I’ve stayed in from anywhere around the world.
Pros:

Exceptionally good-really captured a sense of a city dedicated to arts & culture. The building creates a modern snes of the simple but elegant style of Japan. It’s fantastically situated in handy walking distance of all Kanazawa’a main attractions. The room was unique & attractive with dry comfortable beds. Nice bathroom. Lovely staff & I had one of the best massages ever.
