Elan Hotel Lake Nojiri

We stayed for 3 nights with breakfast included. The property manager and staff were very nice and accommodative.
They gave us free use of the SUPs and kayaks which was lots of fun.
The rooms were nice and freshly renovated.
Highly recommended for either a summer stay to enjoy the lake activities or a winter stay to hit the nearby slopes.

トイレ、お風呂、洗面、冷蔵庫は全て共同で、お風呂は行くまでの道のりが不気味で怖かった。お風呂も古めかしく、暗い感じ。
でも、夜中のチェックインでも準備してくれてあり、お風呂も湯船に浸かれる様に準備がしてくれてあり、感謝です。

大変素朴な地域でした。お値段は安く、食事もサービスが過剰すぎることもなく、混みあうこともなくよかったです。トイレにウオッシュレットなどの設備があれば一層よかったと思いますが、宿泊費が安いことがよかったです。

山側の部屋だったが、窓にカーテンが無い。
テレビは有ったが、テレビ放送が見られなかった。
和室を無理やり洋室にした感があり、荷物を置くスペースが無い。
当方の事前確認漏れではあるが、冷蔵庫が共有なのは不便。

Cosy hotel with fluffy mattress and duvet - totally enjoyable! Although booked king double bed room, got twin instead. Had to move beds together and deal with 2 separate blankets instead of one big! Also had some bugs in the bathroom. Staff were friendly and nice, super tasty breakfast too! Mixed feelings and felt it was overpriced - obviously because of location as facilities were average.

We had a great stay at the Elan Hotel. Chris made the stay much easier by driving us around a bunch. The other staff is just as helpful as Chris. We highly recommended staying here! Thank you for the great time!

The hotel is located 15 mins between Myoko and Madarao either way. Excellent location for checking out multiple resorts and scenic view of the lake. Breakfast was consistently good and the set dinner was surprisingly good too. Gotta hand it over to Chris and Maggie who made the stay so memorable. They go out of their way to help you with whatever your trip needs—from pick ups/drop offs, restaurant bookings, and tons of recommendations. My group of 6 had a blast

This place is a gem for our ski trip. Cosy lodge, our room was spacious, very comfortable beds, beautiful views and daily breakfast was a perfect start to the day. Location was perfect for us and just a few minutes away from the main ski resorts via a free shuttle. Has great amenities and comfortable facilities. The only improvements we would suggest is to give the toilet areas a renovation.

Overall, our stay was perfect, and a special thank you to Christo & Maggie going above and beyond to making our stay unforgettable! Highly recommended this place & we hope to visit again soon!!

We had a nice stay. A property prepared for days of skiing. The breakfast was good. The onsen warming. The views magnificent. We were snowed in one day and were only able to find food at a convenience store. The drives around the lake and mountains are beautiful. The highway has an exit nearby but there is plenty of other access. Probably great for summer too!

Reasonable price and good service of staff but poor facilities.

Had a terrific relaxing couple nights. The best beds we've yet had to sleep on. Bedding was super comfortable as well. The included breakfast was great. Western style.

Lake around the property is nice to walk, has several good food options. The 7-11 is an easy 10 min walk to get drinks and snacks. And the fellow at the resort gave us a quick lift to the train station for the next leg of our journey. Really enjoyed our stay.

This hotel is family run, with attentive and friendly host. The host invited my daughter to watch a Ghibli movie with their kids in the common area, and then served treats during the movie. The breakfast was excellent (variety of cereal, granola, bread, yogurt as well as hot breakfast made fresh with a salad). The beds were comfortable and one of our rooms had a toilet and bath/shower in the room. The other room used the shared toilets. There was a washer and dryer free and easy to use. The hotel is located within a short 5 min walk to Nojiriko Village docks, restaurants and shopping. The hotel is older, with some areas showing wear (e.g., tiles missing or taped to bathroom wall so they don’t fall off).

The Owner is phenomenal. Easy to talk to and extremely helpful with any request. Breakfast every morning was fresh and well made. Rooms were clean and comfortable

建物自体は古いがリノベーションされている為とても快適に過ごすことができました。部屋も広く和室にベッドスタイルでとてもいい雰囲気でした。近場にレストランが少ないことだけがネックに感じましたが、何軒かはあるので選択肢は少ないながら食事はできます。なお、移動に車はマストなので長野駅周辺で車をレンタルする事をオススメします。

This property is one of the best Ski lodges stays I have been to in 20 years of travelling the world. The team of Christo and Co are all amazing humans that live to please the guests and make your stay an incredible experience. Every day you are cooked a hot breakfast by an amazing Chef Maggie then assisted with transport from the team to get to and from any mountain of your choice for the day of snow action.
Each evening you have a choice of in hotel 3 or 5 course dinner or supported to find amazing restaurants around Myoko for your dining requests with delivery and pick up to eat out.
Facilities in the hotel are great with a heated hot pool in both the men's and women's wet areas to assist in recovery after a big day of riding.
Overall, this place in 5-star treatment at an affordable price in Japan. The team are legendary to deal with everything provided to make your snow holiday amazing. I couldn't recommend this place anymore and I will be going back next year with my family.

It was amazing, the customer service was top notch, the food was delicious, the snow removal was great, beds were comfy. I’m already planning on staying here again.

古いホテルの改修で綺麗になっていて快適にすごように気遣いを感じたのと、スタッフがフレンドリーでとても良かった。
ただ、共同のトイレとバスは我慢かな？！
