Clean room. Good location
Nothing
Lovely building and interior design, in a good location. Beautiful view, spacious room with guest control of aircon/lighting/TV. Staff are attentive and helpful. Large bathroom with nice amenities.

床跟枕頭很舒適
I loved the room, very centrally located with close proximity to the Christmas markets and shopping streets nearby. It is also very well connected as Yobocho station is right outside of the frint door. The swimming pool and thermal bath facilities whilst small were of a good standard. The breakfast spread was also great, wide selection of Japanese and Western choices.
The room, shower and the bed in particular was extremly luxurious and comfortable.
To be honest it was good all around. The pastries were rarher disappointing, the crossoints were too flaky.
It took us two train transfers from Nagoya Station to Sakae, followed by Sakae to Yabacho. The location is situated next to Exit 1 of Yabacho station (stairs only). To reach the hotel, you can take an elevator from Matsuzakaya departmental store to the ground floor and cross the road to the hotel. As my son is a Pokemon fanatic, the main reason we chose this hotel is the proximity to the Pokemon Centre (located at Parco) which is across the hotel. Not forgetting the annual Christmas Market is just situated 2 mins walk from the hotel.
The room is huge, so much bigger than most in Japan, and it's new and clean. We had an issue with the air-con initially but note that it will take quite a long time to cool down the room. Every control is touch screen and it's nice that they have different mode settings for the room. The soft door closure, the heated bathroom floor and the sink area really add to the overall comfort. Staff and guard are stationed at the ground floor at night and this enhances the hotel security. Overall we had a great 6 nights stay and will stay here again if we come back to Nagoya.
We stayed at room 1004 and the refrigerator in the room can be really noisy. The noise will start about every 30 mins and lasts for a few minutes.
Staff were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast had a great selection that blends Japanese and intercontinental well. Room was exceptional.
Hotel had a great layout and good facilities. Definitely staying at TIAD again when visiting Nagoya.
I believe the room cleaning staff forgot to place water in the room on day one but I’m just nitpicking now.
There’s nothing I didn’t like.
Modern & thoughtfully designed hotel, spacious & well layout room. Stylish swimming pool with onsen in changing room. Service exemplary.
Nothing really, slightly lower room rates would be nice.
This is a beautiful hotel with an ideal location. There is a train station next to the property, a Lawson convenience store one block away, and several trendy clothing stores around the corner. You can easily walk north to the buzzy Nishiki area and Oasis 21/museums, and southwest to the Osu Shotengai Shopping Street. One evening I made a reservation for the hotel’s warm pool, steam room, onsen, and sauna. It was extremely relaxing and the facilities were fantastic. They even have swim suits to borrow for free. The hotel room itself was very impressive, including a nice view of the city with floor to ceiling windows. The bathroom is spacious and featured heated floors. I will stay at this hotel again.
Some people may find it annoying to take one set of elevators into a lobby and then get on another set of elevators to get to their room. It didn’t bother me.
New and clean and comfortable
Understaffed, inexperienced team and not too friendly
