Leuk hotel in Kyoto
Pros:

Proper, leuke sfeer, mooie functionele kamer (wel niet zo groot)

Cons:

Kamer was eerder klein, ontbijt was lekker maar eerder beperkte variatie: Je had elke morgen keuze tussen enkele types ontbijt (Amerikaans, Japans, Thais, ...). Het Amerikaans ontbijt was dan bv elke ochtend hetzelfde.

Lovely hotel perfectly situated to see everything in Kyoto.
Pros:

We loved the location, the coworking space, and the food. The room was also very comfortable for two people and their luggage. The bathrooms are also great. We also loved the staff, they were incredibly helpful and always polite.

Cons:

You couldnt see out of the window in our room, due to the shade of the glass.
This was a bit dissapointing as we were on the 5th floor and had hoped to get some great views of the city.
This was our only complaint!

Lovely hotel
Pros:

Lovely staff and the food at the restaurant was excellent.

Cons:

The shower was very small so you had to get in to turn it on
That always results in an uncomfortable blast of very cold water.

One of our favourite hotels from our Japan trip - will return
Pros:

Staying at Asai Kyoto was a great experience. The rooms were small but very clean and thoughtfully designed to make the most of the space. It offers excellent value for money in Kyoto. The lobby restaurant was also a pleasant surprise, serving delicious, well priced thai food for when you were exhausted or wanted a change from Japanese food.

I loved this place. I would definitely stay here again when I return to Kyoto.
Pros:

I loved everything about this hotel — friendly staff, modern rooms, and cozy dinners on cold nights without having to go out into the cold. The bar is fantastic too. It truly feels like a home away from home.

Cons:

For breakfast, I think the Thai dishes could be improved. The noodle soup was not very memorable — something like minced chicken basil (pad krapao gai) might be a nicer option. The Japanese selection also felt a bit limited.

初めて泊まりましたが大満足です。
Pros:

清潔感のある室内で快適でした。
決して広い部屋ではありませんが、観光を目的とした旅行であれば十分すぎるくらい良かったです。

Cons:

アメニティの場所が少しわかりにくかったです。
フェイスタオルがもう一枚あると良かったです。
