I would stay here again because of the location and staff.
Pros:

I was a very traditional hotel in terms of the size of the room and amenities. The staff was very friendly and the location was perfect! The room was small for 3 adults, but that is not abnormal for Kyoto.

Chill but friendly property in the Geisha district.
Pros:

Lovely hotel and friendly staff in the heart of the Geisha district. Walking distance to lots of sights. We had a great stay and especially loved the lady Soda on reception who was very friendly and fun. Okini!

Quiet well located hotel with lovely helpful staff.
Pros:

Quiet location but near the sights of Kyoto. Very helpful staff.

Cons:

I had forgotten breakfast was not offered and wished we didn’t have to go find it everyday.
