Highly recommend this hotel.
Pros:

Best location. Lots of restaurants, close to transit and shopping. A good size room with all the amenities. The extra room for the third person is cute. Love the free coffee and free kits in the lobby. Love the balcony. Nice view of the neighbourhood.

Cons:

Need some decaf pods in the room.

My fault, I should have booked the comfort room, The view is one of my top priorities, it was good, but could have been better.

Hôtel très bien situé en plein centre de Gion et très bien desservi par les transports ;très calme très propre et confortable
Chambre petite sans étagères de rangement ; valises au bout du lit que l on ne pouvait pas vider !
Très bien équipé au niveau du nécessaire de toilette
Machine à café ds la chambre ; et boissons gratuites au rez de chaussée

Great boutique hotel in the heart of Gion.
Pros:

Spacious room, excellent location in Gion, close to many remarkable places and street, and quiet at the same time.
Friendly and professional staff. Particular thanks to Soda at the front desk, who went above and beyond to make my birthday day even more special. She was so genuinely kind.

Overall, we highly recommend this place.
Pros:

Very atmospheric and comfortable place, with cozy beds and a soft, pleasant duvet. Delicious tea, a nice stream of warm water in the shower, and everything worked perfectly. The bathroom amenities smelled wonderful and were complete (shampoo, lotion, conditioner, shower gel, etc.).

Cons:

A small ironing board and a compact iron in the room would be a nice addition. It would also be helpful to have English-language TV channels, especially news. Disposable fabric slippers instead of leather ones would be appreciated.

Perfect place to stay in Gion district!

The location was perfect...right in the heart of the Gion district close to many restaurants and things to see and do.

Sweet hotel in a great location
Pros:

Sweet little hotel in amazing location down a quiet street in Gion. Very helpful staff who mostly spoke excellent English

Cons:

Our room was quite small - just about room for the suitcases! - but we stayed for 5 nights and grew to love it :)
It was extremely expensive as we were there in cherry blossom season. I think all accommodation is two or three times the usual price around this time
