Comfortable enough with friendly staff, a nice sitting area in the reception area for coffee and a nice bar downstairs.
Pros:

Great location close to Shinjuku station. Vibrant atmosphere.

Cons:

The step in the room up to the bathroom. A great trip hazard in the middle of the night.

Great value for money, for people who are out all day. Convince store a few steps away from the hotel.
Pros:

Out of the way of the main areas, quiet location. Close by to the main entertainment district and plenty of eateries.

Cons:

It was a bit hard to find initially. The shower and bath do need a hand rail to make it more accessible. Very limited choice for breakfast.

조식은 간단하게 빵과 커피, 차, 잼과 버터류 제공되어 괜찮았음
위치는 신주쿠 jr 역 근처라 이동하기 좋음 (신주쿠역내부에서 길찾기는 여전히 어려움)

Rooms smell of cigarette smoke.
Pros:

The staff were always helpful and kind. Location was great, extremely convenient and close to Shinjuku station. The rooms were pretty big for a place like Tokyo, especially in Shinjuku.

Cons:

Unfortunately I cannot in good faith recommend this hotel to anyone as the entire hotel absolutely stinks of cigarette smoke. The lobby is okay, but as soon as you get off the elevator on your floor, the smell is overwhelming. It was difficult to sleep or even really exist in the rooms because of the smell. The staff were nice enough to let us change rooms once, but ultimately it made no difference. I could smell the smoke on our clothing even after leaving the room hours later. There is a smoking area in the hotel, but the rooms are all supposed to be nonsmoking. My guess is either the smell is leaking out from the smoking area (I suspect this is the case, as it seems to be coming from the vents and would worsen if we turned the air on) or someone on our floor was smoking in their rooms. I honestly don’t know how any of the staff/housekeeping didn’t smell it, it was very strong.
There is also a VERY high step up to get into the bathroom, which seems incredibly dangerous, especially at night. I am relatively tall and even I was concerned about falling or tripping.
Unfortunately after this experience, I will not be back.

Sehr gute Lage, sauber, Auftritt der Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption grenzwertig, kleine Zimmer
Pros:

Die Lage ist sehr gut. Die Zimmer mit richtigem Fenster nach vorne sind halbwegs akzeptabel, obwohl die Sanitärkabinen grenzwertig sind, man kann sich kaum drehen. Betten waren ok. Manche Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption sehr freundlich, insbesondere Tee aus Frankreich.

Cons:

Manche Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption sind "halb vermummt" mit bis tief ins Gesicht gezogene gestrickte Mützen aufgetreten, das war ein bisschen beängstigend, selbst wenn sie freundlich waren. Fühlt sich irgendwie komisch an. Ansonsten sehr kleine Zimmer, viele mit Fenster aus Milchglas, im Prinzip kann man das nicht einmal als Fenster zählen sondern muss das Zimmer als fensterlos ansehen.
