Great stay in historical building with new comfort
Pros:

Everything! Interior fittings were new but we stayed in a historical building. Staff were great ( special mention to Shion who walked us to the other house and back! Pls come to Singapore soon!) loved the location and the environment and we had our own Sakura garden right outside d house!

接待人員非常親切，環境整理得相當乾淨，屋裡木質的味道在冷冽的空氣中格外舒服，雖是江戶時期武士的家屋改建而成的民宿，卻有著高級飯店的管理與質感，檜木浴缸在寒冷的冬天尤其令人回味無窮，屋內雖大各處都有暖氣隨處皆可駐足，提供的備品點心也是一應俱全

Amazing stay
Pros:

The most amazing stay in a historic house
Amazing design
Great beds
Heaters everywhere which was very appreciated during the cold weather
Delicious tea offered in the bedroom (we ended up going to the shop that sells it!)
Very nice staff, with a lot of information and maps provided to visit the city

Pros:

We really enjoyed staying here. The personnel were very helpful and the place was quiet and peaceful. The room was a spacious, 4-room/section place in a 120-year old cottage style, with modernized bathroom, nicely made in traditional onsen style. Better signage for the breakfast location would have been helpful.

An excellent romantic stay and a great place for history lovers.
Pros:

Everything. The staff provided lots of information upon check in. The room was beautiful, and the bath 5 stars alone. Recommendations for local restaurants were excellent, and the breakfast was delicious to eat and in a beautiful location as well.

Cons:

Nothing could have been improved. An excellent stay.

まさか武家屋敷群の中の一棟に泊まれるとは思ってもいなくて、日常から離れた安らぎを感じました。歴史好きな気の合う仲間とまた訪れたい宿です。

Unique and historic hotel
Pros:

This is a really lovely renovated Samurai home that was built over 100 years ago. They’ve renovated it in a way that really preserves the original feel but the new additions are luxurious. It’s also located in an older Samurai village so the surrounding area is very cool as well. Super quiet, lovely wood bath tub, and a lot of character. This is a really unique place to stay and we loved it. We came to see the migrating cranes and it’s about 20 minute drive from there. We had dinner at a great spot nearby that our hosts recommended, they were very welcoming and kind.
