Far East Village Hotel Osaka, Honmachi

Our stay at the hotel was wonderful! The room was clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was perfect for exploring nearby attractions. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing and pleasant stay!

The remote control of the TV was very dirty, I had to clean it myself. The bathroom was clogged so the water almost flooded the bedroom when I unplugged the bathtub. I had to walk in the dirty water to call the front desk. When I called the front desk for help, he laughed. I don’t know what part of this was funny. The front desk sent someone in to clean it using some kind of chlorine agent while I was waiting wrapped in a bath towel. I didnt want to wait for a long time for that chlorine agent to dissolve whatever clogged the bathroom at 11 pm, so I had to asked for another room. Then, had to repack my luggage and move to the new room with no assistance at all in the middle of the night.
The next morning when I turned in two key cards to check out and told him it was for the old room, the hotel manager said, “Sorry for the inconvenience.” That was it. He didn’t even bother to ask what happened. I might stay again if I wanted to pay a moderate rate to stay in a new but poorly maintained hotel in a moderately convenient location.

Quite good location and comfortable hotel. I like free coffee service in the lobby. I did not feel any bad noise during my stay.
I like far east village hotel more than other Japanese chain hotel.

Amazing stay of 9 days in yr establishment. Great location & cleaned rooms. Fantastic service especially from Leo..Thks! Will be my preferred choice for next visit again.

Pros
-Location, 3 minutes walking to Hommachi station, walking to Shinsaibashi
-free coffee at the lobby
-front desk staff is helpful
-hotel changed the name recently, so the hotel is not old

Cons
-room got no view, when I booked at Agoda, the website picture didn’t specify that there’s no view
-room is dark since it has no natural light
-they don’t clean your room everyday, maybe only change towels and empty trash daily
-lift are a bit slow

万博に行くのに宿泊しました。
ユニットバスが思っていたより広くて良かったです。
お部屋は広くはなかったけど、駅も近くて便利でした。

フロントの方の対応が気持ちよかった。ロビーに設置してある飲み物が一息つけるアイテムで良い。

本町の駅へのアクセスもよく、商店街が近くて何かと便利です。ホテル内の清掃も行き届いており、とても良い時間を過ごさせていただきました。

部屋の清潔感は完璧でした。
部屋にコップやカトラリーがないのが残念。

Lidt slidt værelse og ukomfortabel madras. Også en smule væk fra centrum. Men udemærket til prisen.

The staff was very friendly

Stayed here during our stay in Osaka for around 5 days. Couldn't have asked for a better hotel! Rooms were cleaned every day, all of the staff were nice and there were coin washers on the ground floor, which for me was a very helpful feature. Excellent location as well, very near the Honmachi Station.

First stayed at Lub d in Bangkok and was also very happy with the service then. It's really great to know that their brand of service and quality doesn't change across the globe.

Lub D provided a great facility and supportive staff.
The room is small but is configured well to be spacious. The bathroom is also spacious with a nice bath tub.
The staff was friendly and helpful even with us arriving late from our flight.
The nearby shops and stores provided convenience in accessing essentials.

We plan to stay here in our visit to Osaka

Nothing at all is good, I got a very small two bed room, and breakfast is something that they call sandwich.

I thought the location was great. Unfortunately it wasn’t very clean. Bathroom was fine, but the main rooms carpet had many stains at looked visibly dirty. The mirror had rust splotches, and lower part of the walls was grimy. Bed was comfy, and my room had a bit of the skyline, but overall wouldn’t come back.

The cost-effectiveness is fine, but it smells a bit like a bathroom.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was rather small but tidy. Personally, I don't like bathtubs, rather a shower. Everything what you expect of a 3 star hotel is present. Just around the corner is a shopping street including a Lawson convenience store. The metro station is within walking distance.
