אולי הציפיות היו גבוהות ביחס למחיר ששילמתי או שאולי בגלל שהגעתי ממלון הרבה הרבה יותר מפנק בטוקיו אבל די התאכזבתי.

האבזור היה בסיסי ביותר. מרחק הליכה מכובד לכל מקום ואין תחבורה ציבורית ליד המלון, אבל זה די אופייני לקיומו בכלל. לא היה אפשרות לקפה פרט לבר בקומת כניסה רק תה ניקיון אחת ב4 ימים, גם לא פינוי זה או סידור מיטה. מקלחת עם זרם מוזר, חזק , אבל הרגשה כאילו עומדים מתחת לצינור ולא ראש מקלחת. אין אפשרות לאוור חדר , חלונות אטומים ומזגן עושה רעשים, נדלק ונכבה לבד בלילה. יכולה להמשיך עוד , אבל זה מספיק. בקיצור די התאכזבתי

Great position in Kyoto. But it’s very expensive for what you get.
Pros:

Position. Position. Position. Plus it had a nice newish, clean feeling to it. It also had a great shower.

Cons:

The included breakfast was very limited. No refills of coffee etc and took for ever to arrive on one occasion.

This is an excellent property with very knowledgeable and helpful staff.
Pros:

The staff was very helpful and friendly. We appreciated having the courtyard where we could bring in outside food and have a place to eat it. Our room was large and nicely appointed. The shower was excellent! We had very easy access to the laundry and additional towels and amenities were available near the elevator if we needed.

Cons:

It would be great if there was a coffee/Matcha machine in the lobby with access to coffee 24 hours a day and no additional charge. We mention this because other hotels provided this.

Pros:

Mainly location and atmosphere in the common areas. Breakfast was very nice.

Cons:

The room was way too small, I took the standard which looked in the pictures as spacious. It wasn't spacious, at all. We didn't have enough room for our luggage and we couldn't use the closet because the door couldn't be opened as the table blocked it. I had to pay extra to move to a bigger room even though the room was partially unusable. Cleaning happens only once in three days. It took ages to receive the breakfast and coffee, they couldn't handle the pressure. We had to wait almost half an hour to receive the food and drinks.

Didn’t feel like the staff cared that much about our stay. Didn’t feel personal. Asked for extra pillows and they didn’t come. Had to ask again. Also, they don’t clean unless you stay for 4 nights. They should write that in the hotel description.

Pros:

Location was fine, room size was adequate and very clean. Colin laundry was great.

Cons:

Very modern hotel, nice staff and good location - central enough but tucked out the way.

Cons:

The hotel is incredibly modern but at the same time, the opposite in certain aspects and it’s a bit strange. Examples would be, you have a state of the art keyless code to get into your room, but your TV is incapable of playing anything smart related - no streaming whatsoever and it also won’t stream from your phone. In addition, each floor has only one dryer and washing machine which are in heavy use. The dryer is 100 yen per half hour, but as per other reviews, doesn’t dry effectively, so you either have wet clothes or pay for longer. As you’d imagine, by doing this it delays other people drying their clothes, and so on - I had a queue at the dryer at 11pm at night on our floor. Overall good place to stay, but for the price, you’d expect these two basic aspects to be improved. Everything else great
