Pros:

This was the 2nd time we stayed at a Fairfield hotel. It was not as memorable as the first time in Gifu. These are very good hotels, no surprises, built to a formula, though lacking the personal touch. Clean, comfortable, quality fittings. Good sized rooms. Plenty of free parking & umbrellas and a common lounge room with a variety of tea, coffee and miso.

Cons:

Little bit sterile, room temperature maintained cooler than normal, so bedding just a little inadequate. If you like to be provided with all those extra little things that many Japanese hotels provide they’re in short supply here and then mostly in bulk. One would think that a hotel of this stature that attracts many foreigners would provide more than 1 solitary TV station (BBC news) out of the 30+ Japanese choices offered, but no. No bathroom, no bath, small vanity in the room. Would prefer a bathroom, though the shower stall was great, good water pressure and ample warm water.

Clean, Spacious and Convenience
Pros:

The hotel provides excellent service and is very clean. The lobby on the ground floor is beautiful and spacious, and the staff are warm and welcoming. The accommodation is located near the entrance to Mount Aso, with many nearby restaurants and several convenience stores to choose from. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay.

Perfect spot to visit Mount Aso without booking a tour or renting a car!
Pros:

The staff were super welcoming and gave me extra towels for the indoor/outdoor onsen next door (which allows folks with tattoos!). So easy to get to as it backs onto the train/bus station. It was quiet, and the lobby area has beautiful big windows so I could work using their wifi while enjoying the free miso and coffee. My large room on the 4th floor had a lovely view and was very comfortable.

Pros:

Dejlig stort velindrettet værelse.
Vi var lidt betænkelige ved den tilkøbte morgenmadsbox, men den oversteg langt vores forventninger. I boxen var der ovenikøbet en sandwich og plastpose som man kunne lægge den i, så der også var lidt at spise senere på dagen!
At der ikke var en restaurant tilknyttet var ikke noget problem, da den store stue og køkken fungerede upåklageligt!
Der var en fin solterrasse uden for de indendørs fællesarealer.
Venligt og imødekommende personale.

Pros:

住宿地點很好，就在阿蘇驛旁邊，附近有超商補給也很方便。房間設計很漂亮，在臥室和廁所中間有拉門就寢時可以拉上，讓房間不受衛浴裡的燈光干擾。還有一個長條沙發蠻舒服，比較特別的設計是洗手臺在房間裡而不是衛浴裡。
