Exceptional value for Kyoto
Pros:

Great location for those who prefer to not stay in the busy areas. Close to Sannenzaka and Gion area. Apartment was very spacious for family of 4

Cons:

Basic amenities should include toothbrush, shower caps etc

Great value for money, great location, clean rooms, good service. No cleaning service during stay.
Pros:

I really liked the layout, the amenities, the cleanliness, the convenience of luggage storage, and how accommodating the staff was through Line message. It was a good location and easy to walk everywhere including to the train station. Although we were on the main road, it was still somehow very comfortably quiet. The room is larger than many rooms in kyoto, which we really appreciated. There is also a common room, laundry room, and a vending machine for water and drinks. It is conveniently located close to 7-11, family mart, and lawson. There are many restaurants around it its a very short walk to kiyomizu-dera.

Cons:

I didn't love the cloud check-in even if it was practical. I think it would be great for late hours checkin, but not midday as there can be other people in the lobby. It is also a bit confusing when booking two rooms to check in to both. When the background on our end was loud, and the background on their end was loud, it was hard to hear. I think I prefer the human touch, but this was a neat experience. Checkout was actually the easiest I ever experienced, just scan a QR code on the door. One thing is that cleaning isn't included but an extra paid service. For staying 5-6 days, I prefer a regular hotel, but for 2-3 days I would pick this over a hotel. That said, the deep clean before getting the room was super clean, no dust anywhere. I did read that if you stay 7+ days, you get a day of cleaning service. It's different than previous experiences where it is clear if cleaning is included or not. Overall great stay though and convenient location!
