Value for money & room size was surprisingly spacious.
Pros:

The room size was great as we had 3 single beds yet we still felt like we had space. The staff were friendly & greeted us when we saw them. The area was good. I liked the fact the room keypad was a code so no need to carry a room key around.

Cons:

Not much, it was value for money & perfect place for our Kyoto stay.

Pros:

Tolles Hotel von dem wir alles super gut erreichen konnten. Personal war unglaublich hilfsbereit und auch die Zimmer waren gut ausgestattet

Cons:

Das Hotel und die Zimmer haben uns sehr gut gefallen - Zimmerreinigung nur alle 4 Tage, Handtücher kann man sich jedoch selbst neu holen. Vergleichsweise teuer war der Gepäckversand nach Ōsaka - da haben wir zuvor weniger bei längerer Distanz gezahlt.

Nice clean spacious room
Pros:

Nice big clean room. Stayed for a few nights with family of 3 and plenty of room for all of us. Staff was very friendly. Free amenity cart was very nice. Would stay here again!

Beautiful modern sustainable zen hotel in great location!
Pros:

Beautiful hotel in great location. The hotel is very modern and clean and the staff are great!! There is a gym and small cafe on the first floor. There are no keys and you access your room via a PIN number which is great as you never need to remember a key when you go in and out! Room cleaning is only done if you stay 4 nights or more, however on each floor there is a large selection of fresh towels, toilet paper and any other amenities you may need that you can help yourself to. There are also laundry baskets to leave any dirty towels. It may not be everyone’s preferred approach but I loved it. There is also coin operated washing machines and dryers on the third and fifth floor. 400jpy for a 30min wash (you don’t need to add any detergent it is automatically added by the machine during the cycle), 100jpy for 30min dry (more coins can be added for more time). The machines are really easy to use - please note they only take 100jpy coins (there is a change machine next to reception). The decor is incredibly zen/relaxing and the location is great - about a 5/10 min walk to different metro stations and to the main road they has many shops and restaurants, there are a few 7/11s very close by too, and lots of restaurants in the surrounding streets too.Also the lifts are super fast which you don’t get everywhere! The rooms are also very spacious. Would definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel to anyone.

Nie wieder!
Pros:

Gute Lage - ca 30 min zu Fuss bis Higashiyama, ca 20 min bis zu einer der Hauptstrasse mit Subway und Bus-Anschlüssen.

Cons:

Das Zimmer war dunkel und klein (nach hinten raus), das gesamte Gebäude extrem hellhörig. Wir hörten die ganze Nacht durch Poltern aus den angrenzenden Zimmern. Es gab praktisch keine Möglichkeit, unsere nassen Sachen zu trockenen - und es regnet viel in Kyoto! Die zwei Waschmaschinen und Trockner waren durchgehend besetzt und in den Zimmern selber gibt es nur winzige Nasszellen ohne Möglichkeit, nasse Kleidung zu trocknen. Das Personal ist nicht japanisch (!) und grösstenteils unfreundlich und nicht besonders zuvorkommend. Das gesamte Hotel macht keinen besonders gemütlichen Eindruck. Für uns der absolute Tiefpunkt auf unserer Japanreise!

Unconventional but still quite good
Pros:

Very good hotel but quite unconventional: you get a code to enter your room instead of a key card, there's only a café on the premises, not a restaurant, and there are carts on the floors with toiletries and towels if you run out, as they clean the rooms every three days. There are washing machines and dryers that you can use. Overall it seems as if they tried to minimise staff, but that didn't take away from the experience. I booked the king studio as I wanted a bit more space, and it was really good.

It is an excellent no frill and no fuss boarding.........guys do ensure to do an online check in, if you are going to reach the location post 11pm as their front office physically works only till 11pm ....

Great stay in Kyoto with ideal location and great amenities.
Pros:

Great location, easily accessible via train or car. The room was spacious and had a great bathroom. There was a coffee shop within the hotel which was convenient and they also had a gym, baggage storage, and laundry facilities.
