Thoughtful cosy plush stay in great location
Pros:

From the moment we walked in the whole place just felt like someone had paid real attention to details and it felt very lux. For the super reasonable price we paid I was not expecting something so plush. The staff were wonderful, thow whole place was absolutely spotlessly clean, and smelled good as well. It was warm and cosy. Breakfast was also lovely. While they didn't have laundry services, Kyoto is actually a spot where you can easily you Fuwarabo wash and fold laundry and it comes back to you pretty much in 24 hours, for a very reasonable fee. So it was also nice to take a break from doing your own laundry! Our suitcases were already in the room when we arrived from Kawaguchiko, as they had been forwarded from Tokyo. The staff were super friendly thoughtful and caring.

Cons:

I have nothing to add here. Everything was excellent.

Amazing hotel - take me back now!
Pros:

Gorgeous hotel, in really nice neighbourhood just 5 mins walk to Nijo Castle and station. Hotel is beautiful! Breakfast was really good! Room was gorgeous!
