Beautiful view of the mountains & lake. Quiet location, but able to walk to several restaurants. Staff are extremely helpful. Breakfast is wonderful also. Only down side is that there is not an elevator. Otherwise a delightful place to stay.

We stayed for one night only - we were greeted with a ver warm welcome, the room was exceptional and the balcony offered a great view. The place also offers a wellness area that looked really nice. Breakfast buffet was great and once again the service was great. Smiling and very welcoming staff.

We stayed here during our family trip for two nights. Although we arrived there at night, the staff welcomed us with a big smile. They were friendly and helpful. Our room was a large, self-catering family room with one bedroom, one living room with well-equipped open kitchen and a balcony. The room had an amazing, breathtaking view of the lake and mountains (Alps). There was a nice walking pathway surrounding the lake. The hotel was close to Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau Castles. There was a free parking area in front of the hotel, too. I strongly recommend Seehotel Hartung everyone and hope to visit again for a longer stay.

Pros:

1) Amazing room View with Amazing Balcony ….. One of the best I’ve ever had if not the best ever. Breathtaking. Mountains and a Lake.
2) Free parking.
3) The sofa in the apartment can be turned into a bed for two.
4) Friendly Staff, the owner Simon will welcome you.
5) I took a one bedroom Apartment, so everything needed was there.
6) Decoration of the whole place is good and charming.
7) Free and fast Wifi.

Cons:

1) Location is good only if you have a car.
2) Bathroom amenities should’ve been better.
3) If you come from a non-European country be sure that you have an electricity adapter. as the hotel cant help you with that.
4) No tea or coffee bags in the room.

Stayed here for a week on a bed and breakfast basis. It's not a hotel, more of a big guesthouse, but that's the only vaguely negative thing I can say. The location is almost perfect, right on the lake with a view of the mountains beyond. We had a second floor room in the new block, with balcony. The room was great, bathroom beautifully finished off. Wellness centre is small but immaculate. Breakfast was lovely, and the setting pretty. There are half a dozen good restaurants along the lake front within about 4-5 minutes walking, all good, some excellent, so there's no danger of starving! Location wise this is only 5 minutes from Fussen and a few minutes more to the Castles at Neuschwanstein. The Austrian border is close by, too, so it's a good base for exploration. It would be amazing in the winter and we're thinking of coming back when there is snow. Bikes can be hired from the owners, and there's a lot of cyclepathery around the area, which is beautiful. Fussen is a beautiful medieval town with a lot of nice shops and places to eat, pretty to walk around. Top tip - if you're in the area in the summer, visit the Alpsee up by the castles and walk round the lake to the fenced off lawn area - looks like a private club but its not, a few euro gets you a day of sunbathing on a rented deckchair a million miles from the commotion at the Castles.

Spacious and cozy room. Kitchen small but completly equipped. Terrace with spetacular view to the lake and snowny montains. Perfect landscape. The hotel is decorated in "hunting lodge" style. The breakfast is great. Fast access to the Fussen's Castles.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The view of lake and mountains was awesome, and the staff was friendly and helpful. They saved us a parking space gave good advice on seeing Neuschwanstein Schloss. I highly recommend it..

What a great place! The view is worth every penny. Plus, it's very cheap. The staff is the nicest staff I've ever been in contact with. The room is a bit extremely decorated and not particularly luxurious, but out the window we could see the lake and mountains...the breakfast was good too.
