Prize by Radisson, Dortmund City

I stayed in this property recently, having been on one of my frequent trips to Germany to see friends, family and have a break. Initially I stumbled upon this hotel given its affordability. It's safe to say that I wasn't disappointed.

Initially, upon check-in, the receptionist told me that there was no record of my booking, though once I provided proof and she took a photograph of it, I was provided with my room key and was in. This was a common sense solution. Following this I was informed that rooms are cleaned every 2-3 days. Presumably this is part of a sustainability drive? I didn't have an issue with this, plus it meant that I didn't have to rush out of the room every morning, especially after an evening in Hubert's Kneipe, just around the corner.

Overall the room was clean, the staff were friendly and the free coffee machine in the main reception was an added bonus on a morning. The locale is ideal for many kinds of visitor, with Kneipen, restaurants, shopping, good transport connections and a healthy amount of walkable infrastructure surrounding this hotel.

All in all a good hotel which I would happily recommend to anyone.

Sauber und ruhig

Obwohl wie an der Rezeption Deutsch gesprochen haben, hat ein junger deutscher Man an Rezeption mit uns nur English gesprochen. Peinlich. Berlin ist Multi-Culti. Sonst Hotel war ok.

チェックイン・チェックアウトは基本的にパソコンを使ってセルフ方式。ただ私は、そのときいらしたフロントスタッフさんにとても丁寧に対応していただきました。
部屋はとても清潔で快適です。飲み物や湯沸器はありません。朝食をつけていなくても、朝食時間にコーヒー(いろんな種類があります)は無料でいただくことができます。ホテル近くには、日曜朝に開いているパン屋等がないので、朝食をつけてもよかったかもしれません。おいしそうでした。

I stayed here on two consecutive weekends as I was attending performances at the Opera House, for which the hotel is very well located. It is also am easy walk from the train station. Recently modernised the rooms were comfortable and clean. Staff were all helpful and friendly and a special shout out to Anna on reception who went above-and-beyond in being so helpful.

Das Hotel ist im alten Gesundheitsamt. Ein grossteil ist original geblieben, da das Haus Denkmalgeschützt ist. In der 7. Etage gibt es eine ziemlich coole Rooftopbar. Sehr schöne Aussicht auf Dortmund. Das Hotel ist direkt in der Stadt, hinter der Thier Galarie

Der check-in ging sehr schnell. Die Zimmer sind klein, aber es ist alles da was man braucht. Leider funktionierte die Klimaanlage nicht. Das Personal war sehr nett. Würde hier auf jeden Fall wieder übernachten

It was very quiet at night! The staff was excellent, helpful, and friendly. The breakfast buffet had ample vegan options!

Solides hotel

Tolles Personal, für Businessreisen aber nur bedingt geeignet, da Kein richtiger Schrank, kein richtiger Schreibtisch,
Es ist ein altes Amtsgebäude, fühlte sich leider auch so an.
In meinen Augen waren für den Preis ein paar Selbstverständlichkeiten nicht dabei.

Super friendly staff

Das Zimmer war klein, aber ausreichend, um nur dort zu schlafen. Allerdings roch es unangenehm nach Toiletten, was sehr störend war. Die Heizung war bei schlechtem Wetter kaputt, und dadurch habe ich mich erkältet. Insgesamt war der Aufenthalt enttäuschend.
