Pros:

Das Hotel liegt zwischen Neuendorf und Vitte, die nächste Möglichkeit zu Einkauf oder Gaststättenbesuch ist 2,5 km entfernt. Wer sich daran nicht stört und gern läuft, ist in der Heiderose sehr gut aufgehoben. Für 17.50 EUR wird ein exzellentes Frühstück angeboten, das man jeden Tag neu vor Ort bestellen kann. Zur Anfahrt von der Fähre ins Hotel eignen sich die dort lagernden Handwagen hervorragend. Der Biergarten, den es mal gab und der auf Info-Blättern immer noch erscheint, existiert nicht mehr. Wir haben uns auf den Standpunkt gestellt, dass wir ja gerade wegen der Abgeschiedenheit nach Hiddensee wollten und dass es ein Vorteil ist, wenn die Heiderose noch abgeschiedener ist als ein Quartier in Vitte oder Kloster. Es gibt eine schöne Sauna.
