Wer etwas Besonderes sucht, sollte hier Halt machen.
Pros:

Diese Unterkunft ist in jeder Beziehung außergewöhnlich: die Lage, die wunderbar liebevoll restaurierten alten Räume, der ausgesprochen freundliche Empfang, der Ausblick vom Restaurant im Amtshaus, das umfangreiche Frühstücksbuffet in fürstlicher Umgebung, die Flasche Wein zum Abschied. Wer etwas Besonderes sucht, ist hier gut aufgehoben.

Excellent - highly recommend.
Pros:

Small attention to details and made to feel very welcome. With a pet we stayed in the new part (not the old castle) which has aircon. Lovely walks around the castle. The is the castles own wine collection to taste and buy as well. Amazing location for breakfast in the castle itself. YOu cant visi the castle itself outside hours. Many original features are very sympathetically restored.

Alles ist wirklich sehr sorgfältig und sauber. Das Gym ist hervorragend ausgestattet und ein echtes Erlebnis im Keller mit Ritterrüstung.
Super ruhig, köstliches Frühstück, unglaublich nettes Personal und Spaziergänge im Steigerwald genau vor dem Schloss!

Cons:

Das wir das Gym und die tollen Waldwanderwege nicht eher entdeckt haben.

Værelserne og området, morgenmad på slottet var enestående.

Cons:

Aftensmaden i bierstube var helt helt ringe, maden var uspiselig. Virkelig ærgerligt for så smukt et sted hvor man forventer kvaliteten af maden følger med.

Es war traumhaft und wir kommen wieder. Wir haben uns wie die Schloss Heeren gefühlt.

Wunderbare Lage am Steigerwald .Sehr gute Weinlage. Sehr ruhig . Recht authentische Instandsetzng des alten Schlosses.

Cons:

Vielleicht fehlt ein Schwimmbad. Sonst war alles sehr schön.

Verrassende pleisterplaats op weg naar het zuiden.
Pros:

Fraaie en zeer ruime kamer met airconditioning. Uitgebreid en uitstekend verzorgd ontbijt. Goede keuken (lunch en diner was heerlijk). Bij vertrek kreeg ik tot mijn verrassing een fles wijn mee. Accommodatie is het waard om voor om te rijden.

Absolutely wonderful Hotel
Pros:

Fantastic hotel :-) first the recepionist offer a welcome wine and the look at the amasing view. When we came to the room it was a handwritten welcomenote :-) and it really make us feel welcomed. At evening we sat outside and play some card and bump in to the manager and we started to chat and he showed us the whole hotel at 22:00 so we saw the old prisoncells and winecellar etcetc and told us all about the hotel for an hour and we were so impressed that he took his time :-) the room was excellent and the breakfast also and the whole environment about the hotel was so perfect and quiet.
You could fell the old history(800years) and still it was newly perfect renovated all details was great.Thanks for a wonderful stay and we will be back as soon as we do a roadtrip again :-) and we also got a gift when we left :-) 6-Star experience.

Magical stay!!!
Pros:

The grounds are incredible, the food was so tasty, the breakfast was incredible and the staff goes above and beyond. There’s so many special touches and incredible views and historical things to see!!

Pros:

De locatie is prachtig en alles mooi gerenoveerd. Het was heerlijk rustig en de kamer was prachtig. We hebben genoten!

Cons:

Jammer dat de biertuin niet open was. Er was geen plek op het terras voor diner. Maar heerlijk gegeten.
