Gute Lage, praktisch zum übernachten
Pros:

Die Nähe zum Bahnhof war gut, da ich auch in der Umgebung unterwegs war. Neues Hotel, die Zimmer sind schön aber klein, das Bett ist bequem. Zur Straße hin sehr ruhig bei geschlossenen Fenstern, Kühlschrank und Wasserkocher sind vorhanden.

Cons:

Alles etwas unpersönlich, Check in und Check out am Automaten, im Bad hat es immer nach Abfluss gerochen, Klimaanlage ist im Sommer toll, zu anderen Zeiten macht man doch gerne mal das Fenster auf, aber das ist inzwischen fast überall schwierig, kein WLAN.

I have found IntercityHotel to be a hotel chain with poor service quality and an indifferent attitude. I encountered parking issues at both the Heidelberg and Frankfurt Airport locations, and no staff member was willing to assist or guide me on how to handle the situation.

At IntercityHotel Heidelberg, the staff cold-heartedly handed me a small piece of paper and told me to deal with it myself, providing zero explanation.

At IntercityHotel Frankfurt Airport, when the parking lot was full, I was simply told to find a spot on my own. There was no suitable space near the front entrance for me to temporarily park and unload my luggage to check in. I was even yelled at by a taxi driver, yet no staff came to help me—it was truly a terrible experience!

Furthermore, after completing the check-in process, the staff didn't even inform us of the direction to our room, leaving us to find it entirely on our own within the hotel.

With such indifferent service quality, this hotel chain is truly not worth recommending or revisiting!

Pros:

Die IC Hotel ist sehr neu. Alles angemessen und schön . Die 7,8 Bewertung schreckt ab - ist aber wohl nur durch das W LAN Thema so nachvollziehbar.

Zimmer gut, ebenso das Bad. Bett gut. Tiefgarage vorhanden.
Beim Check- in war jemand mit Laptop an einem Stehtisch und behilflich. Morgens war dort niemand, aber Mitarbeiterin beim Frühstück hat auf Nachfrage sofort jemanden geholt, so dass ich wegen defekten Kassenautomats mein Parkticket zahlen konnte.

Cons:

Kein Restaurant. Bar nicht geöffnet. Online Check-in. Kassenautomat für Tiefgarage hat nicht funktioniert.
Zimmer zu den Bahngleisen. Durchsagen auch bei geschlossenen Fenstern zu hören.

Pros:

Good proximity to train station & public transport. Free Public transport tickets for H club members which is free to join!

Cons:

Our room faced into the train station & rail yard, the windows were obviously not double glazed as we could hear rail announcements over the PA system overnight & early morning which wasnt great. Car Parking daily €20 rate.

Sehr zentrales, internationales Hotel
Pros:

Check in mittels Terminal, ruhig trotz zentraler Lage, sauber, es war alles da :)
Wir haben an der Bahn anstelle des hoteleigenen Parkplatzes geparkt.

Die Lage war für meine Aktivitäten sehr gut, allerdings war es aufgrund der Ausrichtung (Richtung Bahnhof ) nicht möglich mit offenem Fenster zu schlafen.

It's ok if you have no other options
Pros:

The room was a good size and the beds were comfortable. There was a fridge in our room.

Cons:

We had to change our room because the original room we got given smelled like sewage everywhere. The new room we got was a downgrade, because all the other rooms were fully booked.

The hotel is full of Legionella Notices. We got two extra bottles of water and the receptionist said in passing that we shouldn't brush our teeth using the tap water. Naturally, we were a bit concerned about showering too.

We only booked this hotel because it stated that it has on-site parking. Then after booking we found out that it's not possible to book a parking space in advance and because we arrived late, obviously all the parking was already occupied. So we had to park in a parking garage on the other side of the railway station. Which totally defeated the purpose of staying in Intercity Hotel in the first place.
