Normalde kiraladığım odadan daha küçük bir oda verdiler. Maalesef farkınıda aldılar. Ve otelde resepsiyon olmadığı için yarım saat bekledik. Berbat bir konaklamaydı.

It was good overall except a little inconvenience i experienced at night regarding my door access card.

!!WARNING!! Unsafe and Unpleasant Experience - Avoid at All Costs! Our stay was incredibly disappointing and unsafe. The rooms couldn’t be locked, which left us feeling very insecure. The room itself had an unbearable odor, making it impossible to relax. To make matters worse, we had no running water for two days, and this lack of hygiene caused us to fall ill. There was no service or assistance offered despite the many issues we encountered. The building was essentially a construction zone, with loud noise from early morning due to ongoing work, and parties disrupting sleep throughout the night. Overall, an unacceptable experience.

The accommodation was very nice at first sight, even if you could already guess what to expect from the loud music coming from the bar downstairs. Techno all night long. Over time, however, the stay turned into a real ordeal. It smelled of sewerage in the room, the water failed in the whole house for days and you could no longer flush the toilet. Unacceptable hygienic conditions. We had rented 4 different rooms and were able to open all the doors of all the guests in the Popstel with our access cards. Security ? Not to mention the mosquitoes that came in through the window from the courtyard. The gang from the Popstel always referred to the manager, or even once said ‘hey this is Istanbul what do you expect?’ Apparently the main focus is on making money with partying, maybe you should leave the hostel thing alone. It was terrible, even the praised roof terrace, you are welcome to use it if you buy the expensive drinks. It's not really included for the guests of the Shitstel. You can also forget about breakfast. But on the other side of the street you can get something for 30 €

Unterkunft war auf den ersten blick sehr schön, auch wenn man schon ahnen konnte was einen erwartet bei der lauten Musik die von der Bar Unten her kommt. Techno all night long. Im laufe der Zeit entwickelte sich der aufenhalt aber zu einer Zerreissprobe. Es roch nach Kanalisation im Zimmer, das Wasser ist im ganzen Haus ausgefallen für Tage und man konnte nicht mehr die Toilette Spühlen. Unzumutbar

No había nadie en la recepción para recibirnos. El hotel estaba en remodelación y realmente no se puede descansar durante el día. Está en buena zona y el bar de abajo tiene buen ambiente.

Harika bir deneyim

Temizlik muazzam değil odalar çok küçük yatıp çıkmalık bir yer fazla beklentiye girmemek lazım

2 kez konakladık, ortam gayet güzel. Odalar da ihtiyacımızı karşıladı. Konum çok iyi. Yine İstanbul’a geldiğimde tercih edeceğim yer burası olur.

Konum olarak harika bir yerde, çok sevdiğimiz bir işletme. Ama güzel bir haftasonu geçirmek istediğimiz bir yerde hemen barın üstündeki tahminimce otelde ses düzeyi olarak olabilecek en kötü odanın bize verilmesi bizi üzdü :)

Bunun dışında oda gerçekten çok temiz ve güzeldi. Sadece odada çay bulunmasına rağmen ne bardak, ne de su ısıtıcısı göremedik.

The hotel is made on top of a bar and the music blares in your ears till 5 am. Only stay here if you want to party all night. Not a family friendly place to stay AT ALL

It was a lovely experience, and the staff is very helpful too. the desk is not very intuitive and they were short-staffed when I visited but they made up for it with their kindness. The place does not have a lift so if you have heavy luggage that might be a problem. it was very clean and beautifully designed. great for a couple of nights at the heart of the city.

Expensive for the accommodation

The property was generally in good condition. The outside is painted in colorful “graffiti” murals which are kinda fun, and definitely attracts the young party crowd that this area is evidently known for. Check in was a little bit of an issue (and this may have been due to my lack of reading—I honestly don’t know!), but the hotel property door doesn’t haven’t have a call button or any way to get in. Evidently you have to walk around the corner to their bar and find the staff there to handle check in. I was lucky and ran into the property manager as I was trying to walk in. He was very nice and offered me a coffee.

He did mention that it might be “a little loud” because my room was by the street on the first floor and I might want to go get eat plugs…

If you want a restful nights sleep this is NOT the place to book on a weekend by any means. There was a dance club just below my room that was open until about 2-3am and the music was just insane. Drunk people yelling and screaming outside of my window until 5am and cars driving by with stereos blasting as loud as they could go. I seriously though about checking into another property that night, but I had flown 16 hours and was tired.

I also couldn’t get the AC to work, the property manager came and checked on it when I told him the next day and it worked fine for him (of course! :)) But unfortunately it then started dripping on my bed the entire night. Drip..drip..drip..drip…

New and cool place. I really liked the staying in this hotel. Hotel was near the central of the city. The metro is 5 minutes walk from the hotel.
Staff was so friendly and helpful.
